Burba found a spot in the Milwaukee bullpen last season and did ok in long relief. He will be looking for a similar opportunity this spring, after signing a minor league deal with the team over the offseason. His primary contribution will be in a mentoring role.

Burba will probably have to settle for a minor league deal somewhere and hope to make a team out of spring training. 2003 will probably be his final year.
