Reames had a bad year at Triple-A Edmonton, and got hammered in a brief callup. He's now 30, and seems destined for minor league journeyman status.
Awful in the first half, but dependable in the second in the first bit of sustained success he's had in two years since Tommy John surgery. Will fit into the Expos bullpen picture next year, probably in the middle somewhere, and if you subscribe to the “two year recovery time from TJ surgery” theory, he could be a bargain.
