Krynzel has signed a minor league deal with the Orioles.
ANALYSIS
He'll likely spend the season at Triple-A unless he's able to parlay an excellent spring into a bench job with the Orioles. The former first-round pick has been a complete bust thus far.

Krynzel had another poor season in the minors and was traded to the Diamondbacks in December. He hit just .231 for Triple-A Nashville and he's out of minor league options. He'll be a reserve outfielder in the majors, at best.
Krynzel spent almost all of 2005 at Triple-A Nashville where he struggled a bit. He's still only 24, but it's looking like he'll be a role player in the majors due to his troubles getting on base consistently.
Krynzel made his major league debut in 2004, hitting .220 in 16 late season games. His defense in the outfield is far superior to anything else the Brewers have, but he needs to catch up at the plate. After the trade of Scott Podsednik, he could win the starting center field job this spring. Even if he doesn't, Krynzel is still a good keeper pick.
Krynzel started very hot last season and then faded badly in the second half. He may need another season in Double-A or Triple-A before he's ready to make the jump to the majors. He has tremendous speed and stole 43 bases at Double-A Huntsville in 2003, but also struck out 119 times in 457 AB. Don't expect him to help the Brewers out until 2005 at the earliest.
