Marcus McBeth

McBeth notched 32 saves in the minors at three different stops in just his second year since being converted from an outfielder. He had his most prolonged success at Double-A Midland, allowing just 43 hits and 20 walks in 54.1 innings while fanning 65, after dominating in a short stint at Single-A Stockton to start the season. The A's rewarded him with a trip to the Arizona Fall League and adding him to the 40-man roster. He's got a great changeup to complement his fastball and slider. He's not a threat to close as long as Huston Street is healthy, but could make for a good staff-filler in deep leagues a year from now.
