Past Fantasy Outlooks
2006
2005
Gassner took a step back at Triple-A last season as his walks increased, but he did get his first major league win when called up as an emergency starter. He doesn't strike out enough batters to think he'll have success in the majors, so he'll need to improve his control dramatically at Triple-A for any shot at a big league role.
Gassner isn't considered one of Minnesota's top prospects, but he keeps putting up decent numbers and could get a shot at the major league level next season. However, he doesn't strike out enough batters to think he'll have too much success.
