Statia hit .242 with a home run and 20 RBI with Double-A Arkansas. After stealing 29 bases the year before, he only swiped eight bags last season. Statia is very good defensively, but he’ll need to make some adjustments at the plate after finding Double-A pitches to be a lot harder to hit than the ones he saw in A-ball. Statia will likely repeat Double-A this season.
