ANALYSIS
Richmond posted a decent 98:24 K:BB ratio in 138.2 innings at Low-A Rome last season. While he doesn't have a great strikeout rate, he ranked sixth in the South Atlantic League in ERA and averaged just 1.70 walks per nine innings, which was fifth lowest among SAL starters. He could emerge as a productive pitcher, which would be a nice bonus for what looks like a lopsided deal for Oakland even if Devine was only included.
