Roderick Shoulders

Shoulders will head south to join the Rangers after four seasons in the Cubs organization. Although he wasn't believed to be dealing with any sort of injury, Shoulders appeared in just 91 games with High-A Dayton in 2014. He managed just a .223 average and struck out a whopping 30.5 percent of the time, but also slugged 12 homers while walking 55 times. He'll need to work on shortening up his swing and making more consistent contact to have success at the upper levels.
