The 31-year-old outfielder got into 26 MLB games with the Mets in 2017, but that was his one year with action at the highest level of pro ball. He struck out over 34 percent of the time at Triple-A with the Dodgers in 2018 and with the Mets in 2019.

2018 Fantasy Outlook
Taijeron spent most of the 2017 season on the farm with Triple-A Las Vegas, compiling a respectable .272/.383/.525 line with 25 homers and 78 RBI across 125 games for the 51s before earning a promotion to the majors at the end of August. His success didn't carry over to the majors, however, as he hit just .173/.271/.269 with a brutal 40.7 percent strikeout rate over 26 games (59 plate appearances) with the Mets. While he's flashed some power potential at Triple-A over the past three seasons, hitting a combined 69 home runs for the 51s, Taijeron will have to lower his problematic strikeout rate (29.6 percent over the same stretch) in order to carve out a role in the majors moving forward. He inked a minor-league deal with the Dodgers after being outrighted off New York's 40-man roster in October. Given the Dodgers' outfield depth, Taijeron isn't expected to serve as anything more than a bench option in 2018.
