Steve Hathaway

Hathaway made his MLB debut in 2016 with Arizona, logging 24 appearances (14.2 innings). His 4.91 ERA and 1.64 WHIP don't stand out, but the 15 strikeouts in those 14.2 innings do. He also notched 29 strikeouts in 29.2 innings at Triple-A Reno, and he had 48 strikeouts in 43.2 innings at the Low-A and High-A levels in 2015, so it's safe to say he can miss bats at a solid clip for a LOOGY. A lefty reliever who can strike out a batter per inning can be valuable to a MLB team, so if Hathaway can cut down on his 3.7 BB/9 from last season, he could secure himself a spot in the Arizona bullpen. However, he doesn't figure to work in high-leverage situations, making him pretty uninteresting for fantasy purposes.
