The Blue Jays acquired Sprock and international bonus pool money from the Twins on Friday in exchange for right-hander Tommy Nance, Ben Nicholson-Smith of Sportsnet.ca reports.
Analysis
The 21-year-old catcher was an eighth-round pick by the Twins in 2025 and has spent much of the 2026 season with Single-A Fort Myers. In 280 trips to the plate with Fort Myers, Sprock slashed .306/.436/.441 with five home home runs and 14 stolen bases. He was recently promoted to High-A Cedar Rapids and should settle in with the Blue Jays' High-A affiliate in Vancouver.
