David Moss (F) Calgary - (Shoulder) Skated briefly with the Flames during practice on Sunday, but there is still no set timetable for his return.
Adam Pardy (D) Calgary - (Shoulder) Pardy's shoulder is still bothering him as he holds onto his spot on the Flames' packed full Injured Reserve.
Jamie Lundmark (F) Nashville - (Groin) Has been out since late September dealing with an injured groin and is still listed as day - to - day.
Matthew Lombardi (F) Nashville - (Upper Body) Lombardi is out indefinitely after being diagnosed with a concussion.
Marcel Goc (F) Nashville - (Upper Body) Goc was recently placed on the Injured Reserve with a separated shoulder.
Alexander Burrows (F) Vancouver - (Shoulder Surgery) Listed on the Injured Reserve after left shoulder surgery, retroactive back to September 13th.
Sami Salo (D) Vancouver - (Achilles) Out indefinitely after successful right Achilles surgery, and may not return to the ice at any point this season.

Transactions

Nick Spaling (F) Nashville - Recalled from Milwaukee of the AHL.
Alexander Urbom (D) New Jersey - Assigned to Albany of the AHL.
Olivier Magnan (D) New Jersey - Recalled from Albany of the AHL.

Hot

Alex Tanguay (F) Calgary - This playmaker was pegged by a lot of experts to exceed expectations this year, but got off to a slow start. However, Tanguay upped the ante over the weekend and picked up two goals and three points against the rival Oilers. He will be looked upon to lead the way offensively for the struggling Flames and will get all of the ice time and opportunity in the world to do so.
Nathan Horton (F) Boston - Unlike Jay Bouwmeester, Horton has truly flourished since finally getting out of Florida heat. He now has three goals and five points in just 3 games with the Bruins, and looks like he could lead the team in scoring with Marc Savard out for a lengthy period of time.
Henrik Sedin (F) Vancouver - This comes as no surprise as the new Canucks captain is an elite talent within the league. He now has seven assists on the season and with 11 shots on goal, and you can bet he will start putting the puck in the back of the net soon as well.

Cold

Jay Bouwmeester (D) Calgary - The Flames big defensive acquisition over a year ago continues to struggle in Calgary. Many pegged him for a bounce back year this year, yet he has been unable to register a point in four games and has a minus - 2 rating. He will continue to receive a ton of ice time, and there is still plenty of time for him to turn it around. However, he just doesn't look like the player he was in Florida.
Matthew Lombardi (F) Nashville - Lombardi replaced Jason Arnott as the number one center in Nashville, but has not quite meshed with the team like many expected. He was unable to register a point in two games, has a minus - 1 rating, and to make matters worse is now out indefinitely with a concussion. Certainly not what many hoped for as they took a flyer on him in later rounds of their fantasy drafts.

Recommended Pickup

Steve Sullivan (F) Nashville - The speedy winger has magically picked up five points and scored four goals for the Predators in just four games so far this season. While he does have an injury history that plagues his fantasy value, he has all the talent to make a major impact for his team and his fantasy owners. Despite his powerful numbers on the season thus far, he is only owned in 40% of Yahoo! Fantasy Hockey leagues. If you are in a deeper league, and can afford to take a risk with an oft - injured player, Sullivan deserves a spot on your roster at this time.
