Injuries for Teams Playing Monday

Columbus vs. Philadelphia

Columbus

Kristian Huselius (foot) - Blocked a shot off his foot Saturday and probably won't play Monday night. He recently dropped off the first line.
Kris Russell (lower body) - It's possible that Russell could return Monday against the Flyers. Otherwise, Thursday is likely.
Mike Commodore (thumb) - Commodore has missed the last five games and currently is on the IR.
Ethan Moreau (hand) - Surgery to reset a broken bone. At best, he's out until late November.

Philadelphia

Michael Leighton (foot) - Increased his exercise regimen to walk a couple of miles per day. He's still out another month.

Montreal vs. Phoenix

Montreal

Andrei Markov (knee) - Won't play Monday night, but should get clearance from team doctors for game action this weekend.

Phoenix

Martin Hanzal (lower body injury) - Out again on Monday, still not much available on when he'll return.
Shane Doan (suspension) - Not an injury, but he's sitting out the final game of his suspension.

Minnesota vs. Los Angeles

Minnesota vs. Los Angeles

Los Angeles

Drew Doughty (concussion) - Had a setback Saturday and will miss both Monday and Wednesday, and is doubtful for Thursday.
Scott Parse (groin) - Out again Monday, return is not imminent.

Minnesota

Cam Barker (groin) - Out Monday night and hasn't practiced yet since the injury.
Pierre-Marc Bouchard (concussion) - Participated in his first full-contact practice Saturday and is getting back into game-shape. A return is in the cards at some point in November.

Other News

Johnny Boychuk, d, BOS - Out four weeks with a slight fracture in his forearm. Adam McQuaid will get more ice-time as a result. Dennis Seidenberg and Matt Hunwick could get more time with the man advantage, too.
Jean-Sebastian Giguere, d, TOR - Slated to get another start Tuesday, giving him six starts on the season to just two for Jonas Gustavsson.
Brandon Sutter, f, CAR - Sat out practice Monday for a "maintenance day", rumored to be for a hand injury.
Peter Budaj, g, COL - Set to start Tuesday at Vancouver. Craig Anderson has given up nine goals the last two games - this isn't likely a chance to take over the starting gig, but he could get more taps on the pads than typically because of Anderson's slow start.

Hot

Rene Bourque - Bourque followed up his Friday hat trick with two more goals Sunday night, including his third game-winner of the week.
Guillaume Latendresse - If you're looking for a last-second pick up for Monday night, you might consider Latendresse, who has two goals (including one on the power play) and three assists in the last week. He is 55% owned in Yahoo Leagues.
Wayne Simmonds - If Latendresse isn't available, why not go after Simmonds for tonight? He has four points in his last four games, including two goals. He's at risk to get suspended for his butt-end stick-work Saturday, but so far it appears he'll escape punishment from the man. Oh yeah, if PIM's are your thing, chances are you're already on him, but that's a bonus he brings to the table.

Cold

Jeff Carter - This is one cold player that we expect to bounce back, and soon, but he's had one two-goal game and one assist in the other six games, and is a minus-4 the last four games to boot. The Flyers have four games this week to help Carter get back on-track.
