Pitcher
Carlos Martinez, STL at PHI ($52): Martinez is pitching at an elite level this season and there's no reason to think he'll have any problems with the Phillies. Martinez enters with a 2.86 ERA and a 10.21 K/9, which puts him in the class of the best pitchers in the league this season. While he comes at a high price, his matchup with the Phillies is just about as good as it gets as the Phillies have the fifth lowest wOBA against righties this season and they have the fifth highest K rate against righties.
Luis Severino, NYY vs LAA($42): This same matchup didn't end well for Severino last week, but that works in our favor today as Severino has rebounded from his two previous poor starts and I expect the same here. Prior to his last start, Severino was on quite the roll, allowing just six runs over his previous five starts and picking up at least seven strikeouts in each of those starts. He faltered a bit in his last start, but he gets a crack at the Angels again, who have the sixth lowest wOBA against righties this season, so odds are Severino wins the battle this time.

CATCHER
Tyler Flowers, ATL vs SF ($14): Flowers has been one of the biggest surprises of the season and there are no signs that he's about to slow down anytime soon. Flowers will match up against Matt Cain, who is not as reliably bad as he's been in the past, but he still has his moments. Flowers leads all active Braves in wOBA against righties this season at .401 and he's homered in two of his past three games against right-handed starters.
FIRST BASE
Jose Abreu, CHW at MN ($21): Nik Turley takes the mound for the Twins and if the Twins had any other rotation options, Turley would not be in the majors right now. Through two starts, Turley has posted a 12.46 ERA and there's no reason to think that turns around against a White Sox club that's very good against lefties. One of the reasons they are so good against lefties is Abreu, who enters with a .461 wOBA against lefties this season. The White Sox look like the best stack on the board.
SECOND BASE
Brian Dozier, MN vs CHW ($21): Jose Quintana takes the mound for the White Sox and while he's pitched fairly well this season, he's struggled with righties. Opposing righties have posted a .344 wOBA against Quintana this season and that number will likely go up today as he faces Dozier and Miguel Sano. While Sano leads the Twins in wOBA against lefties this season at .460, Dozier isn't far behind at .440.
THIRD BASE
Jake Lamb, AZ at COL ($26): Antonio Senzatela takes the hill for the Rockies and he'll hope to do better than last night's starter as the Diamondbacks absolutely hammered Jeff Hoffman. Senzatela has pitched fairly well for most of the season, but he's hit a rut lately, having allowed four or more runs in three of his past four starts. Lamb has been crushing righties all season to the tune of a .432 wOBA and trails only Paul Goldschmidt among Diamondback hitters in that category.
SHORTSTOP
Francisco Lindor, CLE at BAL ($13): Wade Miley takes the mound for the Orioles and as is the case with every Oriole starter this year, he's really struggling. Miley enters with a 4.29 ERA, but that doesn't tell the whole story as he's been terrible over his past five starts. Miley has surrendered four or more runs in four of his past five starts and that number will probably jump to five of six after this game. Lindor is starting to heat up again, but his price hasn't caught up yet, so it's the perfect time to buy in.
OUTFIELD
Avisail Garcia, CHW at MN ($20): As mentioned earlier, the White Sox present the best stack of the day and along with Abreu, Garcia should be a part of any stack. While Abreu has an outstanding wOBA against lefties this season, Garcia actually leads the team at .470. Turley likely won't last long in this game, but the good news is, the Twins bullpen has been terrible lately as well, so the hits should come throughout this game.
Kevin Pillar, TOR at TEX ($10): Often times in DFS, we buy in when a guy is in the midst of a hot streak, but sometimes it's wise to buy low in anticipation of a turnaround and Pillar's salary is as low as it's been in a while. There is a reason is salary has dropped of course, as he's been in a slump for a couple weeks, but he sat yesterday only to come in late and record a pinch-hit single, which could be all it takes to get him back on track. Pillar also gets a nice matchup against lefty Martin Perez, who struggles against righties. Pillar enters with a solid .405 wOBA against lefties as well.
Albert Almora, CHC at MIA ($9): Jeff Locke takes the mound for the Marlins and he'll hope to improve upon his past three starts. Locke has allowed at least three runs in his past three starts while failing to reach the sixth inning in any of those starts. Almora isn't the first name that comes to mind when thinking of the Cubs lineup, but he ranks only behind Kris Bryant in wOBA against lefties this season at .439. Almora's place in the lineup might depend on Jason Heyward's availability, but if Heyward is back then you can slide him right into this spot instead as his lifetime numbers against Locke are very solid.
