PITCHER
Carlos Carrasco, CLE vs. TEX ($51): Instead of using up all my cap room on Chris Sale ($64), I'll rely on a righty that can be just as good. Carrasco has eight wins in 14 starts and more importantly has returned to dominance in his last three starts, allowing only three runs to go with 21 strikeouts. The Rangers are much worse on the road against righties with a high 25.6 percent K rate and low .298 wOBA.
Gio Gonzalez, WAS vs. CHC ($38): Gonzalez is another pitcher that you can save money with while still getting some upside, as he has four wins in his last five starts and a consistent 22.3 percent K rate. The Cubs have solid numbers against lefties with a 20.9 percent K rate but their bats haven't been rolling, scoring five runs or less in six of their last seven games. Gonzalez has dealt with good lineups this season and has better numbers at home with a .279 wOBA allowed.

CATCHER
Yan Gomes, CLE vs. TEX ($8): With a .355 wOBA and .231 ISO, Gomes is only worth using against lefties. It's usually not a good idea to go against Cole Hamels, but he's returning from an oblique injury and has struggled in limited time against righties (27.0 IP) with a .324 wOBA allowed and 5.60 xFIP.
FIRST BASE
Jose Martinez, STL vs. CIN ($10): With Dexter Fowler out and a lefty on the mound, I'm banking on Martinez to make the lineup after sitting Sunday. Martinez has a solid .422 wOBA and .261 ISO against lefties this season, albeit in 25 plate appearances. As of late Sunday, it looked like Brandon Finnegan was set to start for the Reds and he hasn't made an MLB start since April. Going off 2016's numbers, he had a .334 wOBA allowed and 4.80 xFIP against righties.
SECOND BASE
Scooter Gennett, CIN at STL ($15): In that same game, Gennett is cruising after an eight-hit weekend series and gets to face a beatable righty in Michael Wacha. Gennett has a .389 wOBA and .284 ISO against righties with those numbers rising to .414 and .315 since the beginning of May. Wacha has a 5.02 xFIP against lefties and has made it through five innings in just one of his last six starts.
THIRD BASE
Chase Headley, NYY at CWS ($12): With my next few plays on the high end I'm going with Headley, who returned Sunday from back spasms. And with David Holmberg pitching, at least one Yankee should be used Monday. Headley has better numbers against righties (hence his price) but Holmberg has a 5.43 xFIP against righties with a lot of that coming in relief duty. Holmberg hasn't gone more than five innings and only has 14 Ks in his five starts.
SHORTSTOP
Trea Turner, WAS vs. CHC ($21): The Nationals could be set for another big day going against Eddie Butler. Turner has been much better against righties with a .355 wOBA and 17.2 percent K rate. Butler hasn't been good against either side of the plate and isn't striking out many righties (14.3 percent K rate) to go with a poor 4.89 xFIP.
OUTFIELD
Cody Bellinger, LAD vs. LAA ($24): Bellinger is crushing the ball and could do so again against a struggling Ricky Nolasco. The righty has given up 17 hits and 10 runs in his last two starts to go with seven walks and nine Ks. Those look tasty for Bellinger, who continues to go deep with a .400 wOBA and .391 ISO against righties.
Joc Pederson, LAD vs. LAA ($19): It only makes sense to double up on Nolasco with a couple of lefties. Pederson has improved the last couple months and has a .406 wOBA and .269 ISO since May 1. To go with Nolasco's recent struggles, he has a 5.67 xFIP against lefties and doesn't strike them out much with a 16.0 percent K rate.
Bryce Harper, WAS vs. CHC ($19): This may be another easy play, but easy plays are what leads to success. Most of Harper's damage comes against righties with a .433 wOBA and .324 ISO, and even if he doesn't go deep he's hit safely in 16 of his last 17 games. None of Butler's numbers stand out and he even has more walks (six) than strikeouts (four) in his last two starts, with both coming against weaker lineups in San Diego and Pittsburgh.
