PITCHER
Gio Gonzalez, WAS vs. MIA ($22,200): There are no elite options on the slate and most of the guys on the next tier have tough matchups, but Gonzalez is the exception. He nearly no-hit the Marlins in his most recent start, and while we can't expect a repeat performance, it shouldn't be too difficult to top the five strikeouts he had. The matchup against the Marlins isn't great, but they are middle of the pack in most offensive categories against lefties this season.
Brandon Woodruff, MIL vs. MN ($11,700): Woodruff is certainly not the safest pick on the board, but at this price he's worth a look. Woodruff He only one start under his belt, but he had six strikeouts and allowed zero runs in 6.1 innings. The Twins scored 11 runs Tuesday night, but they have been anything but consistent from a hitting perspective this season and rank in the middle of the league in most hitting categories against righties.
INFIELD
Jose Altuve, HOU at CHW ($10,800): Altuve has that rare combination of high upside and low risk; even at his current price, he generally pays off one way or another. He enters with a .422 wOBA against righties this season and he'll face a weak righty in Miguel Gonzalez, who had a nice three-game stretch prior to his most recent start, but he fell back into his old ways, allowing seven runs in less than two innings.
Marwin Gonzalez, HOU at CHW ($9,600): As mentioned earlier, with Gonzalez on the mound for the White Sox, the Astros are one of, if not the best option for a stack. Against a right-handed pitcher, Marwin Gonzalez is one of the better options on the Astros, as he has a .425 wOBA against righties. The biggest issue with stacking the Astros is their individual prices, but with some cheaper pitching options on this slate, that shouldn't be a problem.
Didi Gregorius, NYY at TOR ($8,100):Nick Tepesch gets his first start of the season for the Blue Jays, and he's walking into a tough spot for a guy who's had trouble staying at the majors over the past couple years. Gregorius enters with a .371 wOBA against righties this season, which is second among active Yankees. The Yankees are a stacking option, but with not much history from Tepesch to go on, I would recommend just picking your spots.
OUTFIELD
Adam Duvall, CIN vs. SD ($9,000):Travis Wood pitched fairly well out of the bullpen earlier this season, but he's had no luck in the starting rotation, allowing 16 runs in just 20 innings over his past four starts, pushing his ERA to 6.49. The Reds are a stack option, and against a lefty, Duvall should be a part of it thanks to his ..419 wOBA against lefties.
Andrew Benintendi, BOS vs. TB ($9,200): Benintendi has been on a tear against right-handed pitching lately, posting scores of 16, 26 and 28 fantasy points in three of his past four games. He gets another righty in Jake Odorizzi, who enters with a 4.47 ERA. Benintendi has been a bit inconsistent this season, but he's in the middle of one of his hot streaks, so he's worth the inflated price.
Tommy Pham, STL vs. KC ($9,200):Trevor Cahill looked pretty good early in the season, but he's struggled to regain his form since a stint on the DL. He enters with a 4.13 ERA after surrendering 12 runs in the past 12.1 innings, while Pham has a .377 wOBA against righties this season, which is tied for the team lead.
UTILITY
Zack Cozart, CIN vs. SD ($8,800): Cozart enters with a .477 wOBA against lefties this season, which leads the Reds and is top-10 in the majors. He has had trouble staying healthy this season, but when he's been in the lineup, he's produced at a high-level, which should continue Wednesday against Wood, whose struggles were detailed earlier.
Travis Shaw, MIL vs. MN ($8,700): I'll preface this by saying that even though he's not pitching great, the fact that Bartolo Colon is still in the league is amazing in of itself. With that said, despite a complete game in his most recent outing, Colon has allowed at least three runs in every start as a Twin and he usually fails to make it past the fifth inning. With that in mind, I'll be targeting a couple Brewers and there's no better against righties than Shaw, who has a team-high .401 wOBA against them this year.
