NBA Start/Sit: Tough Calls for Week 24

Week 24 marks the third-to-last week of the NBA regular season, and most Fantasy seasons are quickly coming to a close. Every team except one (the Knicks) is playing three or four games. Let's take a look at how things shake out:

Teams with four games: DEN, LAC, LAL, MEM, OKC, ORL, POR, SAC, WAS

Teams with three games: ATL, BKN, BOS, CHA, CHI, CLE, DAL, DET, GSW, HOU, IND, MIA, MIL, MIN, NOR, PHI, PHO, SAS, TOR, UTA

Team with two games: NYK

News broke Thursday that Kelly Oubre, Robert Covington, Jeff Teague and Derrick Rose are out for the remainder of the season. Make sure to drop those players if they're on your roster, and search for available value from the Suns and Timberwolves.

Let's check out some players to consider starting and some to consider sitting:

GUARDS

Consider starting: Tyus Jones, MIN (20% owned, 10% start)

Opponents: LAC, GS, PHI

Derrick Rose (elbow) and Jeff Teague (foot) are out for the remainder of the season, so Tyus Jones should start from here on out. You shouldn't expect volume scoring from Jones – he's averaging 9.8 shots across the past four games – but his assist and steal upside is worth investing in. In the past four games, Jones has played 27 or more minutes, and when looking at the 14 games this season where he's seen at least that much run, he's averaging 7.3 assists and 2.0 steals.

Consider sitting: Dennis Schroder (89% owned,
