Voshon Lenard

This season Lenard will have to overcome newcomer Julius Hodge and incumbents DerMarr Johnson and Greg Buckner if he wants to retake the starting SG duties. Lenard’s undeniably good shooting touch makes him the odds on favorite to once again win that job because Denver sorely lacks any consistent outside threat. However, there is a good chance he’ll find himself on the bench late in games when defense is at a premium and that he’ll lose his starting job sometime during the year. If he wins the starting job and keeps it throughout the season we still only see him getting 23-28 minutes a night in which he’ll contribute 8-12 points (90+ 3-pointers), 2 rebounds, and 2-3 assists while shooting 41-44% from the field and >80% from the line.
