ANALYSIS
Morris has played the past two seasons with the Knicks, but he only appeared in 23 games. He will continue to ride the pine in Atlanta, but should see time as a backup for Al Horford and Zaza Pachulia. The potential departure of Josh Smith could also bump up Morris' value slightly.

Morris did little for the Hawks last season, averaging 0.8 points and 0.9 rebounds in 23 games. He'll continue to receive very limited playing time behind Horford and Pachulia.
Morris was signed in late July after playing 18 games with the Knicks last season. At just 22, Morris is still young enough to develop into a valuable player on an NBA roster. However, don't look for him to get much time in Atlanta.
Morris played in five games for the Knicks last season after signing as a free agent in March, averaging 8:41 per game. The arrival of Zach Randolph really squeezes the minutes in the frontcourt, and with the Knicks expected to compete for the postseason, there will be little time available to develop Morris. Eddy Curry will start at center and he played over 35 minutes a night last year. He could move ahead of Jerome James on the depth chart. As an aside, he was arrested this summer and pleaded guilty to reckless driving.
Will try to land a backup center job.
