Warriors Look To Extend Win Streak in Game 3
The Golden State Warriors take on the Dallas Mavericks at American Airlines Center on Sunday night in Game 3 of their Western Conference Finals series. The Warriors lead the series, 2-0.

The Warriors (2-0) had nowhere near as easy a time in Friday night's Game 2, but they managed to prevail in a hard-fought affair, 126-117, thanks to an outstanding second half. Golden State nearly overcame its 14-point halftime deficit in the third quarter, where they whittled 12 points from Dallas' lead before closing matters out with a 43-point haul in the fourth quarter. Stephen Curry led the Warriors with 32 points, adding eight rebounds and five assists. Jordan Poole furnished 23 points, five assists, one rebound and two steals. Kevon Looney generated a 21-point, 12-rebound double-double that included two assists. Andrew Wiggins delivered 16 points, five boards, five assists, one steal and one block. Klay Thompson supplied 15 points, five assists and four rebounds.

The Warriors will list Wiggins (ankle) as questionable for Sunday's game. Andre Iguodala (neck) and Gary Payton (elbow) will remain out.

The Mavericks (0-2) did shoot 47.4 percent, including an impressive 46.7 percent from behind the arc, in the Game 2 loss, while managing a much more balanced performance than in Game 1. Luka Doncic still led the way with 42 points, complementing them with eight assists, five rebounds, three steals and one block. Jalen Brunson turned in 31 points, seven boards and five assists. Reggie Bullock compiled 21 points, three rebounds and two assists. Dorian Finney-Smith finished with 10 points, eight rebounds, two assists and one block.

The Mavericks will remain without Tim Hardaway (foot) for Sunday's game.

Sunday's game marks the seventh meeting between the teams since the start of the regular season. Each team has won three games apiece.
