Warriors Dominate Game 2
The Golden State Warriors defeated the visiting Cleveland Cavaliers, 122-103, in Game 2 of the NBA Finals, at Oracle Arena on Sunday evening.

The Warriors got out to a solid start at home, as they took a 15-6 lead early on. The Cavaliers battled back but still trailed, 32-28, heading into the second quarter. The Warriors maintained the momentum and pulled ahead by 11 points mid way through the second. They outscored the Cavs 27-18 in the quarter and carried a 59-46 lead into halftime. The Warriors stayed strong in the second half, but the Cavs still managed to cut the gap to just five points, with just under five minutes remaining in the third quarter. However, the Warriors finished the quarter strong, to reclaim a 10-point lead heading into the final frame. The Warriors pulled away in the fourth quarter, led by a barrage of ridiculous three-pointers by Stephen Curry, who set an NBA Finals record with nine threes in the game. LeBron James and Kevin Love took a seat with about four minutes left, as the game was out of hand, with the Cavs trailing by 18. The Warriors improved to 10-1 at home in the playoffs and now lead the series 2-0.

Curry led the Warriors with 33 points, eight assists, seven rebounds and one steal, in 37 minutes. Kevin Durant followed up with 26 points, nine rebounds, seven assists and two blocks, while Klay Thompson tallied 20 points on 8-of-13 shooting. The Warriors shot 57 percent from the field, including 15-of-36 from long range.

Meanwhile, LeBron James led the Cavs with 29 points, 13 assists, nine rebounds, and two steals, in 43 minutes. Kevin Love followed up with 22 points, 10 rebounds, two steals, one assist and one block, while George Hill added 15 points, three assists, two rebounds, two steals and one block. The Cavs shot 42 percent from the field, including 9-of-28 from long range.
