Mavs Stay Alive, Force Game 5 Against Warriors
The Dallas Mavericks defeated the Golden State Warriors, 119-109, at American Airlines Center on Tuesday night. The Warriors hold a 3-1 lead in the series.

The Mavericks had their backs against the wall in this game since they were down 3-0 in the series, but they responded when it mattered the most. Dallas set the tone of the game early and raced out to a 28-24 lead following the first 12 minutes, but they pulled away for good in the second quarter with a 34-23 score just before the break. Even though the Warriors won the final 12 minutes by a 39-20 score, their comeback fell short. Dallas is still alive and will hope to stretch the series in Game 5 at Chase Center on Thursday.

Maxi Kleber had a strong game off the bench with 13 points and eight rebounds, while Spencer Dinwiddie had 10 points with eight assists despite not starting.

Stephen Curry led the Warriors with 20 points, eight assists and five rebounds, while Draymond Green had a solid all-around performance with 10 points, six assists and six boards. Andrew Wiggins had 13 points and five boards, while Klay Thompson only had 12 points while shooting 5-for-10 from the field and 2-for-6 from deep.
