Slokar got his first exposure to the NBA last season, appearing in 20 games for the Raptors. He’s still a project who needs to add some bulk to his frame, and if he makes the club Slokar will probably be a frequent member of the inactive list.
Tough European power forward will have a hard time escaping the inactive list in his first NBA season.
Slokar is one of the best shooting big men in the draft. He has a silky smooth stroke and even has some NBA three range. Even with his thin frame, Slokar is a decent rebounder and plays with great toughness. Slokar excels in the pick and roll offense. The biggest question with Slokar is his position. He's too small to guard power forwards and too slow to guard small forwards. Without the upside as other European players and high school players already declared for the draft, it will be interesting to see if Slokar is drafted earlier than mid second round.
