Personal Bio/PreCareer Summary

Jordan Latham Bone was born in 1997 in Nashville, Tennessee. He is the son of Joshua Sr., a sheriff's deputy, and Karen Bone. Joshua Sr. played college ball at Berry College in Rome, Georgia. Bone has two older brothers, Josh and Jaryn. Josh played basketball at the University of Tennessee. Bone played his high school ball at The Ensworth School in Nashville. As an underclassman, he played on Ensworth's back-to-back state championship squads in 2013 and 2014. As a senior, he averaged 20 points, four rebounds, five assists and two steals per game. Following his brother Josh, Bone also played at UT. His major at Tennessee was Recreation and Sport Management. Follow Bone on Instagram (@iam_jbone) and Twitter (@JordanBone23). For his first two seasons at Tennessee, Bone was one of many guards that coach Rick Barnes could call upon to play ferocious defense and hit a timely three-pointer. He started the majority of games that he appeared in but did not average more than 7.3 points and 3.5 assists. As a sophomore, he showed proficiency from long range and hit 38.0 percent of his three-pointers. The Tennessee native showed potential for a larger scoring role in a win over Arkansas in the SEC tournament, putting up 19 points and a trio of treys. Bone helped the Volunteers get out to a 23-1 start as a junior. He led the team with 5.8 assists (second in the SEC) and added 13.5 points and 3.2 rebounds. The 6-foot-3 guard had four games of at least 10 assists and scored a career-high 27 points in a win over Kentucky. He helped the Volunteers advance to the Sweet 16 in 2018-19. After being named to the All-SEC Second Team, Bone opted for the 2019 NBA draft and was selected 57th overall by the Pelicans.

DraftKings NBA: Friday Cheat Sheet
January 8, 2021
Draymond Green is starting to get back in the flow and Ryan Belongia feels you should take advantage of his reasonable salary.
2019 Fantasy Outlook
Bone arrives in Detroit as a second-round pick following a three-year career at Tennessee that saw him blossom in his junior season. Bone averaged a solid 13.5 points (on 46.5 percent shooting, including 35.5 percent from three-point range), 5.8 assists and 3.2 rebounds across 32.9 minutes over 37 games. The 21-year-old encouragingly showed considerable improvement as a shooter, as he'd only posted success rates of 37.2 and 39.1 percent from the floor over his first two seasons, respectively. Bone ultimately signed a two-way deal following the draft, meaning that he'll likely spend the majority of the season with the G-League's Grand Rapid Drive. That clearly lines up as the best developmental path for Bone at the moment, considering the point guard depth chart in Detroit includes proven veterans Reggie Jackson, Derrick Rose, Tim Frazier and Langston Galloway. At 6-foot-3, Bone's primary position is first and foremost at the one, although he could conceivably fill in at shooting guard as well.
