FanDuel NBA: Sunday Value Plays

FanDuel NBA: Sunday Value Plays

This article is part of our FanDuel NBA series.

This Sunday's nine-game slate features a number of new faces in new places that have a great chance to impact your fantasy lineups on FanDuel. Everyone in today's article is magically priced under $6,000, which should help you slide a few studs into your lineups. Here's a look at today's value plays.

Sunday Value Plays

Point Guard

Mo Williams, CHA, $5,400: Williams wasted no time making himself at home in Charlotte, scoring 24 points with 12 assists and five treys in his debut as a Hornet on Saturday. There's a significant scoring void that needs to be filled with Kemba Walker out of the lineup, and that suits Williams' game perfectly. Look for him to have the green light again Sunday against Dallas, who rank 26th in the league over the past 10 games in points allowed to the point guard position, giving up 24.0 points per game. Mo Williams means mo' money today on FanDuel.

Isaiah Canaan, PHI, $3,500: From the bargain basement department, we select the newly-anointed starting point guard for your Philadelphia 76ers. Canaan comes in at the lowest price possible on FanDuel, which is always a situation to take advantage with a player getting starter's minutes. Canaan should get up enough shots to replicate Tim Frazier's 13 point, seven assist performance from Friday. That makes the price worth the potential return.

Shooting Guard

Avery Bradley, BOS, $5,000: Once again, the shooting guard cupboard is bare this Sunday, although Bradley does have one of the few price points that present value. Bradley will draw Wayne Ellington of the Lakers, who are in the back half of the league in terms of points allowed to the shooting guard position, allowing 21.5 points per game. Bradley has hit double digits in scoring in the 13 straight games dating back to January 19 and is coming off a big game against Sacramento, scoring 28 points with six assists Friday. He is a good bet to beat that $5K price tag Sunday.

Small Forward

Wilson Chandler, DEN, $5,800: Chandler has a great opportunity to take advantage of the Thunder's injury woes, as Kevin Durant is once again banged up with a foot injury. Kyle Singler drew the start in Durant's place Saturday and is not someone who is capable of playing great defense against Chandler, or anyone else for that matter. Detroit ranked 24th in the NBA in points allowed to small forwards (19.4 points per game) and that's mostly due to Singler's efforts, or lack thereof. Chandler is coming off a solid performance against the Bucks (19 points, three assists) and has a good chance to keep the party going against the Thunder.

C.J. Miles, IND, $4,700: For some reason, FanDuel has decided to give you an even bigger discount on Miles, who used to reside in the $5K price range in the past few weeks. Although he is inconsistent, Miles is still basically producing at the same overall rate in the past month that he has all season, averaging 12.5 points per game. Miles is by no means a stud fantasy player, but the GS vs. IND point total is one of the highest on the board today at 205 points. The Warriors' fast-paced offense also allows 22.1 points per game to opposing shooting guards, ranking them 22nd in the NBA. FanDuel does list Miles as a small forward, but he plays shooting guard this season for IND, which is why shooting guards stats were referenced. Miles is a solid value play this Sunday.

Power Forward

Brandon Bass, BOS, $4,800: Here lies the perfect example of price meeting opportunity. Bass saw a big increase in minutes Friday in Sacramento with both Kelly Olynyk and Jared Sullinger down due to injury. Bass played 37 minutes and double-doubled against the Kings, scoring 13 points with 10 rebounds. He now faces one of the worst defensive teams in the Lakers, who allow a whopping 22.2 points per game to opposing power forwards, good for 29th place in the NBA. We're all about that Bass on Sunday on FanDuel.

Center

Enes Kanter, OKC, $5,900: Kanter more than held his own in his debut with the Thunder on Saturday, double-doubling with 10 points and 13 rebounds against the Hornets, This line actually could've been better had Kanter not missed four free throws (2-6 FT) Saturday, which is out of character since he's a 77 percent free-throw shooter on the season. It makes sense that with Denver being one of the worst teams in the league, they would also be terrible against the center position, allowing 20.6 point per game to that spot and ranking 27th in the league. Kanter can definitely be a fantasy factor for you on FanDuel on Sunday.
