FanDuel NBA: Tuesday Value Plays

FanDuel NBA: Tuesday Value Plays

This article is part of our FanDuel NBA series.

There are six games on the NBA schedule Tuesday, highlighted by the Warriors trying to extend their record to 23-0 against the Pacers. The Thunder also take on the Grizzlies, which always seems to be an entertaining matchup. Let's take a closer look at some of the matchups in all six games to see where you can find some value plays on FanDuel.

Point Guard
Shane Larkin, $4,600, BKN:
The Nets are really bad and tend to find themselves down big in games, leaving extra opportunities for some of their bench players. Larkin has taken advantage of increased playing time over his last three games as he posted at least 31.2 FanDuel points in two of them. He could also continue to see increased playing time even in close contests as the Nets might slide Jarrett Jack over to shooting guard at times with Rondae Hollis-Jefferson out (ankle), allowing Larkin to play with Jack. Look for Larkin to have a solid performance considering his price Tuesday against the Rockets.

Patrick Beverley, $4,100, HOU: Beverly has been solid offensively of late as he has scored at least 10 points in each of his last four games. He provides more value on the defensive side though as he has recorded at least two steals in three of his last five games. Beverly has produced at least 20.4 FanDuel points in five of his last six games, making him an interesting option at such a cheap price.

Shooting Guard
Alec Burks, $5,500, UTA:
Burks continues to be an offensive spark plug for the Jazz as he has posted at least 19 points in three of his last four games. While he doesn't provide a ton in the way of assists, he has grabbed at least five rebounds in four of his last five games. The Kings aren't exactly a defensive powerhouse, so look for him to take advantage of this matchup Tuesday.

Small Forward
C.J. Miles, $5,200, IND:
There are a lot of elite options at small forward with LeBron James ($10,200), Paul George ($10,100) and Kevin Durant ($10,100) all in action, but Miles might be your man if you want to go a cheaper route at the position. He can really put up points when he gets hot and actually posted at least 36.2 FanDuel points twice over the last six games. The Pacers and Warriors might both go small for good portions of this game, possibly meaning extended run for Miles.

Power Forward
Andrew Nicholson, $4,000, ORL:
Nicholson has worked his way into a regular role for the Magic as he has played at least 23 minutes in each of the last seven games. While he hasn't excelled in any one particular category, he did post at least 14 points with at least six rebounds in three of those games. Expect him to be around 20 FanDuel points when the dust settles against the Nuggets Tuesday, which would make him a nice value play at this low of a price.

Center
Steven Adams, $4,300, OK:
Adams just continues to be a reliable big man for the Thunder and although he is not playing huge minutes, he has posted at least 25.9 FanDuel points in two of his last four games. He provides most of his value in the way of boards and blocks, but he can at least score a little. The Thunder battle the Grizzlies tough frontcourt Tuesday, so they might be counting on Adams to play extended minutes. Consider taking a shot on him if you want to go cheap at center.

Timofey Mozgov, $3,500, CLE: If you've read my recommendations before, you may have noticed that sometimes I just like to go with my gut. I'm doing that again with Mozgov Tuesday against Portland. His last game Saturday against the Heat saw Mozgov post 15.8 FanDuel points in only 21 minutes of action. I'm certainly not saying that Mozgov is going to have a huge night, but if you can get between 15 and 20 FanDuel points with the potential for a little more if everything breaks right, it's an option at least worth considering at the minimum price.
