This article is part of our FanDuel NBA series.
There are only 4 games on the NBA schedule Tuesday, but that doesn't mean there aren't some exciting games as the Hawks, Bulls, Mavericks and Warriors will all be in action. Here are some of the better value plays available on FanDuel to hopefully add even more excitement to your evening.
Point Guard
Jose Calderon, NYK at ATL ($4,100): I'm not a huge fan of any of the really cheap point guard options Tuesday, but Calderon could make for an interesting play. While he is not very consistent offensively, he provides plenty of assists and steals when given the opportunity. He has played better of late, posting at least 18.6 FanDuel points in five of his last six games. If you want to go cheap, go really cheap and take a chance on Calderon
Shooting Guard
Lou Williams, LAL vs. GS ($5,700): Williams exploded Sunday against the Suns by scoring 30 points to go along with seven rebounds, four assists and two steals. Williams has been given extended playing time of late as he has played at least 30 minutes in each of his last five games. He's taken full advantage of his extra minutes by recording at least 27.3 FanDuel points in each of his last four games. Look for him to provide a lot of value at this price again Tuesday.
Arron Afflalo, NY at ATL ($4,600): Afflalo dominated the Hawks Sunday by scoring 38 points in only 29 minutes, resulting in 44.4 FanDuel points. It's hard to count on Afflalo as he's not consistent offensively, but it's outbursts like that make him intriguing. His price is low enough Tuesday that I think he's worth taking a chance on.
Small Forward
Chandler Parsons, DAL vs. SAC ($5,100): Parsons has struggled of late, posting 18 FanDuel points or less in each of his last three games. He has a favorable matchup at home Tuesday against the Kings, so he has a good opportunity to get back on track. Playing time is not an issue as he has recorded at least 31 minutes in two of those three games, so it's only a matter of time before he breaks out of his funk. I think Tuesday is the night that he does just that.
Power Forward
Larry Nance Jr., LAL vs. GS ($4,300): Nance has been excellent of late, recording at least 20.4 FanDuel points in four of his last five games. He is getting extra playing time and taking full advantage on a Lakers team that is going nowhere fast. If he keeps this up, his price tag won't be this low for much longer. I'm inclined to ride out his hot streak again Tuesday.
Bobby Portis, CHI vs. MIL ($3,900): If this guy fun to watch or what? He is full of energy, doesn't back down from anyone, and is extremely aggressive on both ends of the court. The Bulls may have found a future building block in Portis and he will continue to see increased playing time with Joakim Noah (shoulder) still injured. Portis has posted at least 23.8 FanDuel points in three of his last four games, so I'm rolling with him at this cheap price Tuesday.
Center
Robin Lopez, NY at ATL ($4,100): Like Afflalo, Lopez was excellent Sunday against the Hawks as he posted 37.7 FanDuel points. While he's not likely to have this kind of production on a consistent basis, he has provided at least 18.2 FanDuel points in six of his last seven games. His price is low, so I'd take a chance on Lopez if you want to scrape the bottom of the barrel at center Tuesday.
