FanDuel NBA: Tuesday Value Plays

FanDuel NBA: Tuesday Value Plays

This article is part of our FanDuel NBA series.

There are eight games on the schedule Tuesday in the NBA, but there aren't many intriguing matchups as the Clippers-Pacers game is the only contest that features two teams with a winning record. Even with so many bad teams in action, that doesn't mean there aren't great options available when selecting your FanDuel lineup. Here are some of the better value plays worth considering.

Point Guard
Archie Goodwin, PHO at PHI ($4,100):
Goodwin is expected to see heavy playing time against the Sixers Tuesday with Brandon Knight (groin) ruled out. Knight has missed the last two games, leaving Goodwin to play at least 39 minutes in both of those games. Extra minutes meant increased production for Goodwin as he posted at least 26.6 FanDuel points in those two games. The minutes will be there, so I'm going with Goodwin.

Shooting Guard
Devin Booker, PHO at PHI ($4,500):
Like Goodwin, Booker is seeing heavy minutes due to all of the injuries in the backcourt for the Suns. Although he recorded only 19.9 FanDuel points Saturday against the Hawks, he did post at least 31 FanDuel points in both of his previous two games. Although the Sixers have been playing better, this is still a good match for Booker at this price.

Dion Waiters, OKC at NY ($3,900): Waiters might be in line for increased minutes Tuesday and for the immediate future as Andre Roberson (knee) is expected to be out for at least the next three weeks. Waiters is not just an offensive jolt for the Thunder as he has also recorded at least one steal in five of his last six games. Don't be surprised if he has productive game considering his price tag Tuesday.

Small Forward
Robert Covington, PHI vs. PHO ($5,100):
It's no secret that Covington can put up points as he has scored at least 16 in three of his last five games. However, I like Covington because he also contributes on the defensive end as he has recorded eight steals over his last five games. That has all resulted in at least 20.6 FanDuel points in six straight games, making him worthy of consideration at this price Tuesday.

Power Forward
Myles Turner, IND vs LAC ($4,900):
Turner has been a monster of late, recording at least 30.2 FanDuel points in three of his last four games. He has taken full advantage of Ian Mahinmi (ankle) being out of action and Mahinmi is questionable to play Tuesday. Even if Mahinmi does manage to play, I think Turner will see enough playing time to warrant consideration at this price.

Aaron Gordon, ORL at MIL ($4,300): Gordon has quietly put up nice numbers of late by posting at least 20.5 FanDuel points in four of his last six games. Not only can he hold his own offensively, but he has grabbed at least seven rebounds in four of his last five games. His length and athleticism could come in handy against a long Bucks team Tuesday, so I'm not afraid to give him a chance at this price.

Center
Salah Mejri, DAL at LAL ($3,900):
Starting center Zaza Pachulia could miss his second straight contest Tuesday against the Lakers as he is considered doubtful to play. Mejri saw increased playing time Sunday against the Rockets when Pachulia was out and responded with 26.2 FanDuel points. Can you imagine what he could do to the putrid Lakers frontcourt? I'm going with Mejri at this bargain price.
