FanDuel NBA: Tuesday Value Plays

FanDuel NBA: Tuesday Value Plays

This article is part of our FanDuel NBA series.

The All-Star Game is rapidly approaching, so there are only a few chances left to cash in big before the fantasy layoff begins. Here are some of the better value plays to consider when creating your FanDuel lineup Tuesday.

Point Guard
Patrick Beverley, HOU at GS ($4,600):
Beverly laid an egg Saturday against Portland by recording only 6.7 FanDuel points, but he had produced at least 22.6 FanDuel points in six of seven games before that. While he's not a major offensive weapon, he's elite defensively and has recorded 11 steals and five blocks in his last seven games. The Rockets are going to need all the help they can get on the perimeter against the Warriors Tuesday, so Beverley is worth a chance at this price.

Shooting Guard
Arron Afflalo, NY vs WAS ($5,200):
Afflalo has been a workhorse for the Knicks as he has played at least 40 minutes in each of the last four games. He has not let the big minutes go to waste as he came away with at least 22 FanDuel points in all four of those games. The Knicks are under a bit of turmoil with Derek Fisher being fired Monday, but look for the veteran Afflalo to provide value at this price against the Wizards.

Danny Green, SA at MIA ($4,200): The Spurs are leaning on Green a little more of late with Manu Ginobili (groin) out of action. While he hasn't been a major force, he has provided at least 24 FanDuel points in two of his last three games. Don't expect him to be an elite option, but he doesn't need to be in order to still provide value at this price.

Small Forward
Harrison Barnes, GS vs. HOU ($4,400):
This could be a fun game full of small lineups and fast tempo as both the Warriors and Rockets have several talented wing players. Barnes has been playing a lot of late as he has played at least 34 minutes in three of his last four games, producing at least 23.8 FanDuel points in two of those contests. He doesn't cost much, so I'd give him a shot if you want to go cheap at small forward.

Corey Brewer, HOU at GS ($4,000): Like Barnes, I'm expecting Brewer to play a big role in this game. I think Brewer is one of the more underrated players in the league as he is effective on both ends of the floor and provides a steady presence whether he starts or comes off the bench. He has provided at least 21.9 FanDuel points in three of his last five games, a benchmark that I think he can at least hit again Tuesday.

Power Forward
Jared Sullinger, BOS at MIL ($5,600):
I'm not a big fan of any of the really cheap options at power forward Tuesday, so I'd go with Sullinger is you are looking to save some money at the position. Sullinger isn't a flashy option, but it shouldn't go unnoticed that he has provided at least 25.1 FanDuel points in each of his last three games. He has been extremely efficient as he didn't play more than 24 minutes in any of those three games and has actually scored at least 11 points in four of his last six games despite not playing more than 24 minutes in any of those games either. I think he will provide steady production again in this one against the Bucks.

Center
Robin Lopez, NY vs. WAS ($5,500):
This could be a fun matchup down low between Lopez and Marcin Gortat. Lopez doesn't always put up big numbers, but he has provided at least 21 FanDuel points in three of his last six games. He should see plenty of minutes against Gortat, leaving him with extra opportunities to produce. If you want to go cheap at center, I'd go with Lopez.
