FanDuel NBA: Wednesday Value Plays

FanDuel NBA: Wednesday Value Plays

This article is part of our FanDuel NBA series.

Wednesday night marks the last big slate of games before the All-Star break as 24 teams will be in action. Is it just me, or does anyone else dread the All-Star break now too because there will be almost a week with no daily fantasy action? The time is now to take advantage of a packed evening, so here are some of the better value plays available on FanDuel Wednesday.

Point Guard
Dennis Schroder, ATL at CHI ($4,500):
I'm a Bulls fan and if there is one thing I know from watching them play every night, it's that the Bulls have been terrible defensively of late. Not only are they finding ways to lose late, but they continue to be decimated by injuries. Although Schroder hasn't played more than 19 minutes in any of his last five games, he did record at least 21 FanDuel points in three of those outings. I think he could provide valuable production at this bargain price.

Shooting Guard
Jamal Crawford, LAC at BOS ($5,000):
Crawford has turned back the clock of late, scoring at least 20 points in six of his last seven games and recording at least 28.2 FanDuel points in four of his last five games. His improved play has led to increased playing time as well as he has played at least 34 minutes in each of his last three games. While Boston has some strong perimeter defenders, I still think Crawford can score enough to be worth consideration at this price.

Terrence Ross, TOR at MIN ($4,500): Ross is coming off of a big night Monday against the Pistons where he recorded 29.8 FanDuel points. Not only has he scored at least 12 points and grabbed at least 3 rebounds in each of his last four games, but he also has four steals over that stretch. You shouldn't count on him to put up monster numbers, but that doesn't mean he can't provide enough production to warrant using at this price.

Small Forward
Kent Bazemore, ATL at CHI ($5,400):
Did I mention the Bulls can't guard anyone lately? Bazemore has been on a roll of late, providing at least 27.6 FanDuel points in each of his last three games. He has also been a major contributor defensively as he has six steals over those same three contests. Look for him to have a very productive night Wednesday.

Stanley Johnson, DET vs. DEN ($4,900): Johnson is a steal at this price. He has seen an increased role with Kentavious Caldwell-Pope (groin) injured as he has played at least 34 minutes in each of the last three games. Although he only posted 14.5 FanDuel points Monday against the Raptors, he did record at least 30.5 FanDuel points in both of his previous two outings. I'm not hesitating to put Johnson in my lineup.

Power Forward
Bobby Portis, CHI vs. ATL ($3,800):
Portis has been one of the loan bright spots for the Bulls of late and even though he is not starting, he has still posted at least 22.6 FanDuel points in two of his last three games. He doesn't need a ton of minutes to be productive as not only does he attack the glass for rebounds, but he also doesn't hesitate to shoot. I think he is worth a chance at this price as he could provide around 20 FanDuel points for near the minimum price.

Center
Gorgui Dieng, MIN vs. TOR ($6,300):
I don't like any of the really cheap centers Wednesday, so Dieng has the lowest price tag for any player I'd be comfortable going with at the position. He has really been on fire of late, posting at least 33.4 FanDuel points in three of his last four games. He enters Wednesday with three straight double-doubles and I wouldn't be surprised to see him at least approach that again in this contest.
