FanDuel NBA: Tuesday Value Plays

FanDuel NBA: Tuesday Value Plays

This article is part of our FanDuel NBA series.

The NBA has a six-game schedule on Tuesday, a relatively light schedule but one with the potential for lots of points scored. The Kings at the Lakers and the Nuggets at the Magic both stand out as potential track meets, and the 76ers at the Nets game just fills me with joy. All in all, should be an interesting night.

Point Guard
Emmanuel Mudiay, DEN at ORL ($6100):
Mudiay has scored at least 29.9 fantasy points in six of his last seven games, and with at least 36.6 fantasy points in five of those games. He's coming off a 23 points, 10 assist effort against a strong Heat defense on Monday, and faces a Magic defense on Tuesday that is 28th against opposing point guards.

Rajon Rondo, SAC at LAL ($8000): Rondo gets the second point guard slot, with an honorable mention to Marcelo Huertas as a min-priced player that has scored more than 28 fantasy points in two of his last four games. But Rondo gets to feast against Huertas and the rest of the Lakers' weak point guard defense, which makes him an explosive threat on Tuesday.

Shooting Guard
Nik Stauskas, PHI at BKN ($3700):
Stauskas got the start for the 76ers on Saturday due to the extreme number of injuries, and responded with 15 points, four assists and two boards in 26 minutes against a solid Pistons defense. On Tuesday the 76ers are still decimated by injuries, which could allow him to get another start at a minimum price tag against a weak Nets defense.

Gary Harris, DEN at ORL ($5200): Harris has quietly stepped forward as a primary scoring threat for the Nuggets in the absence of Danilo Gallinari, with at least 15 points scored in nine of his last 10 games. He has been good for about 30 fantasy points per game over the last couple of weeks, which outperforms his price tag against an unimpressive Magic defense.

Small Forward
Paul George, IND ($8700):
George has scored at least 43.6 fantasy points in six of his last 10 games, and has a match-up on Tuesday against a Celtics defense that is 28th against opposing small forwards and that is also missing their best small forward defender, Jae Crowder.

Power Forward
Thaddeus Young, BKN vs PHI ($7000):
Young is coming off back-to-back games in which he averaged 19.5 points, 9.5 boards, 3.0 assists and 1.5 steals. One of those games was against the 76ers, his Tuesday opponent and former team, and one of the weakest defenses in the NBA. Honorable mention goes to Carl Landry, who has been getting big minutes due to injuries to the 76ers front court and could produce at a minimum price tag.

Center
Brook Lopez, BKN vs PHI ($8500):
That Nets/76ers match-up just keeps on giving. Lopez is averaging 24.8 points, 4.8 boards, 3.0 blocks and 2.8 assists over his last four games and on Tuesday faces a 76ers defense that was already 29th against opposing centers and is now wracked with front-court injuries
