FanDuel NBA: Tuesday Value Plays

FanDuel NBA: Tuesday Value Plays

This article is part of our FanDuel NBA series.

Tuesday night brings six games on the NBA schedule, highlighted by the Warriors against the Wizards and the Jazz against the Thunder. There are some bad teams in action as well, but that just means there are bad defenses to take advantage of for your FanDuel entry. Let's took a look at some of the better plays to consider across the price scale.

John Wall, WAS vs. GS ($10,000): Wall continues to provide excellent production as he has recorded a double-double in 11 straight games. He is in the midst of a career season, averaging career highs in points (22.9), assists (10.7) and steals (2.1) per game. The Wizards are going to need a big night from Wall to keep up with the high-scoring Warriors, making him a strong play even at this price.

Gary Harris, DEN at CHI ($5,500): Harris has stepped up for the Nuggets of late, scoring at least 29.9 FanDuel points in each of his last four games. Harris not only scored at least 19 points in all four of those, but he also recorded at least one steal in each contest as well. He's not going to provide a lot of rebounds or assists, but he can still provide value Tuesday against the Bulls at this price.

Denzel Valentine, CHI vs. DEN ($4,300): Valentine has seen increased playing
time since the Bulls traded Doug McDermott and he has come through with at least 11 points in both of those games. He's been lethal from behind the arc, hitting eight three's over those two games. The Nuggets allow the most FanDuel points to opposing shooting guards at 39.6 per game, making Valentine a good option at this cheap price.

Jimmy Butler, CHI vs. DEN ($9,300): Butler is coming off a triple-double Saturday against the Cavaliers in which he finished with 46 FanDuel points. He continues to be a consistent fantasy option, scoring at least 44.1 FanDuel points in each of his last four games. If the Bulls are going to stay in the playoff mix, it's going to be on the strength of Butler. Look for him to come through again Tuesday.

Frank Kaminsky, CHA at LAL ($5,900): Kaminsky has taken advantage of increased minutes as the Hornets front court deals with injuries and has scored at least 33.2 FanDuel points in four of his las six games. He gets a juicy matchup Tuesday against a Lakers squad allowing the second most FanDuel points to opposing power forwards at 45.1 per game. It's hard to pass up Kaminsky at this price.

Nikola Mirotic, CHI vs. DEN ($4,400): Mirotic is finally getting increased playing time now that the Bulls dealt Taj Gibson, playing at least 29 minutes in both of his last two games. He has not disappointed with at least 29.6 FanDuel points in both of those contests. If you need to save money at power forward Tuesday, Mirotic is definitely worth considering.

Marc Gasol, MEM vs. PHO ($8,200): Gasol continues to stuff the stat sheet in multiple categories, averaging 20.5 points, 6.2 rebounds, 4.4 assists and 1.4 blocks per game. He'll get to face a Suns squad Tuesday that's benched Tyson Chandler, leaving Gasol free from that tough matchup. He'll do battle with the foul-prone Alex Len instead, so expect him to take advantage in a big way.

Jusuf Nurkic, POR at DET ($5,300): Nurkic has scored at least 28.1 FanDuel points in two of his three games since being dealt to Portland and should continue to take on a larger role as he becomes more familiar with the team. Not only is he a nightly double-double threat, but Nurkic also has seven steals and three blocks since joining Portland. Nurkic and Andre Drummond will square off Tuesday in what should be a fun battle that could lead to significant playing time for Nurkic.

Zaza Pachulia, GS at WAS ($4,500): Pachulia has played well since missing time due to injury, scoring at least 21.3 FanDuel points in all three games since he returned. He had his best game Monday against the Sixers when he scored 16 points and grabbed five rebounds in only 15 minutes. He is going to be needed to battle with Marcin Gortat on Tuesday, so he could see increased playing time.
