FanDuel NBA: Wednesday Value Plays

FanDuel NBA: Wednesday Value Plays

This article is part of our FanDuel NBA series.

The NBA starts the month of March off in style Wednesday with 11 games on the schedule. Let's get right down to business and look at some of the better value plays available for your FanDuel lineup.

DeMar DeRozan, TOR vs. WAS ($10,200): DeRozan has put the Raptors on his back with Kyle Lowry (wrist) out of action as he has scored at least 45.2 FanDuel points in each of the last three games Lowry has missed. Not only did DeRozan score at least 33 points in all three of those games, but he also grabbed at least five rebounds in each contest. Look for him to have another big performance Wednesday against the Wizards.

Darren Collison, SAC vs. BKN ($6,000): Collison Is coming into this contest on a bit of a cold streak as he has scored 21.9 FanDuel points or less in three of his last four games. However, the one game during that stretch where he went off for 39.8 FanDuel points came against a Nuggets team that allows the most FanDuel points per game to opposing guards. Next worse on that list are the Nets, who Collison gets to face Wednesday. He is one of the better mid-tier options on the evening.

Malcolm Brogdon, MIL vs. DEN ($5,100): Brogdon is coming off of a big performance Monday against the Cavaliers where he recorded 31.1 FanDuel points. It's important to note that Khris Middleton did not play in that game due to rest. Working in Brogdon's favor Wednesday is that Michael Beasley (knee) is out of action. As previously stated, the Nuggets give up a lot of FanDuel points to opposing guards, so Brogdon makes for a nice value play.

Anthony Davis, NO vs. DET ($11,600): The Pelicans will be without DeMarcus Cousins (suspension) Wednesday, meaning Davis will be left to carry the load in this contest against the Pistons. Davis has scored at least 53.4 FanDuel points in both of his last two contests and is averaging 50.3 FanDuel points per game on the season overall. He won't come cheap, but this has the makings of a big performance.

Robert Covington, PHI at MIA ($7,300): Covington has played well lately as he has scored at least 32.6 FanDuel points in each of his last four games. Not only can he score and rebound, but he is a steals machine as he has at least three steals in each of his last six games. Defensive contributions can sometimes be the difference in DFS, giving Covington added value.

Terrence Ross, ORL vs. NY ($4,400): Ross has taken on a prominent role with his new team as he has played at least 33 minutes in both games since joining the Magic. He has not disappointed, scoring at least 25.5 FanDuel points in both of those games. The Knicks are nothing to write home about defensively, making Ross worthy of consideration at this cheap price.

Hassan Whiteside, MIA vs. PHI ($8,800): Whiteside enters Wednesday on a bit of a hot streak as he has scored at least 41.3 FanDuel points in four of his last five games. He gets to face a Sixers squad that is allowing the most FanDuel points per game to opposing centers at 51.4 per game. This has the makings of a monster night from Whiteside.

DeAndre Jordan, LAC vs. HOU ($7,700): Jordan is coming off of a huge game Sunday against the Hornets where he scored 51.3 FanDuel points. This is a juicy matchup Wednesday against the Rockets as they allow the third most FanDuel points per game to opposing centers at 50 per game. It's going to be a high scoring affair, so look for Jordan to have the opportunity to provide another big performance.

Kyle O'Quinn, NY at ORL ($4,700): The Knicks are running out of centers with Joakim Noah (knee) likely done for the season and Willy Hernangomez (ankle) outWednesday against the Magic. O'Quinn has scored at least 23.3 FanDuel points in both of his last two games despite playing no more than 25 minutes in either contest. If you want to save money at center, O'Quinn is your guy.
