FanDuel NBA: Wednesday-Saturday Value Plays

FanDuel NBA: Wednesday-Saturday Value Plays

This article is part of our FanDuel NBA series.

Wednesday's FanDuel contests stretch all the way into Saturday as games start to become spaced out in the Conference Championship round. While that means it will take a while for you to find out if you are a big winner, that doesn't make the victory any less satisfying. Let's take a look at some of the better players to consider for your entry.

Stephen Curry, GS at SA ($10,000): Curry has been dominant so far in this series, scoring at least 51.9 FanDuel points in both contests. Even in a blowout Game 2 win, he still scored 29 points to go along with seven rebounds and seven assists in 31 minutes. Expect him to continue to excel in Game 3.

Kyrie Irving, CLE at BOS ($8,800): Irving has been excellent in the playoffs and has scored at least 40.5 FanDuel points in three of his last four games. While he's known more for his scoring, Irving dished out at least nine assists in each of those three games. Look for him to continue his productive ways in Game 1 against the Celtics.

Marcus Smart, BOS vs. CLE ($5,100): Smart closed out the series against the Washington Wizards on a high note as he scored at least 30.2 FanDuel points in two of the final three games. While not flashy, he is a solid scorer who has also dished out at least four assists in 10 of his 13 games in the playoffs. He won't cost a ton, making him a viable option for Game 1.

LeBron James, CLE at BOS ($12,500): James has been a freight train in the playoffs as he has scored at least 50.8 FanDuel points in all eight games. He logs a ton of minutes and can contribute in all categories across the board, making him worth using even at this expensive price in Game 1.

Kevin Love, CLE at BOS ($7,500): Love hasn't been a major factor so far in the playoffs as he has scored 22.3 FanDuel points or fewer in four of the Cavaliers' eight games. However, the Celtics' inability to rebound gives Love an extra boost in this series. In his last meeting against the Celtics, Love excelled with 15 points to go along with 16 rebounds. The potential is there for a big performance in Game 1.

Jonathon Simmons, SA vs. GS ($4,300): Simmons was one of the few players on the Spurs to produce in Game 2 as he scored 22 points in 26 minutes. There is a chance that Kawhi Leonard (ankle) returns for Game 3, which would likely push Simmons back to the bench. Even if Leonard does return, Simmons should still see enough playing time to be worth using at this cheap price.

Al Horford, BOS vs. CLE ($8,000): Horford closed out the series against the Washington Wizards strong as he scored at least 30.7 FanDuel points in each of the last three contests. While he doesn't grab as many rebounds as traditional centers, he has dished out at least five assists in three of his last four games. With limited players to choose from at center, Horford is one of the best options.

Tristan Thompson, CLE at BOS ($5,100): This series is a strong matchup for Thompson as the Celtics really struggle to rebound. While not a major offensive threat, Thompson has grabbed at least 10 rebounds in six of the Cavaliers eight playoff games. The price is right to roll with Thompson if you are looking to save money at center as his rebounding numbers could be off the chart.
