DraftKings NBA: Saturday Cheat Sheet

DraftKings NBA: Saturday Cheat Sheet

This article is part of our DraftKings NBA series.

While there are only five games on the NBA schedule Saturday, there are several bad teams in action, as the Chicago Bulls, Dallas Mavericks and Sacramento Kings will all play. While the matchups themselves might not be very exciting, that doesn't mean you can't have a successful evening in DFS. Here are some of the better options to consider for you DraftKings entry.

Guards

Stephen Curry, GS at DEN ($9,500): Curry continues to provide reliable production, scoring at least 42.8 DraftKings points in each of his last eight games. Not only does he continue to provide stellar offensive numbers, but he has grabbed at least five rebounds in each of his last four games. Expect elite production again from him Saturday.

Reggie Jackson, DET vs. SAC ($6,300): Jackson had a rough offensive performance against the Milwaukee Bucks on Friday as he only scored nine points, but he salvaged his game by dishing out eight assists. Jackson had scored at least 15 points in six of seven games entering Friday, so don't read too much into one bad game. He should have a much easier road ahead of him against the Kings on Saturday.

Jamal Murray, DEN vs. GS ($5,400): Murray scored only three points Friday against the Miami Heat, but he had scored at least 20 points in three straight games entering the evening. The Warriors have allowed 111.7 points per game this season, so they aren't exactly a defensive juggernaut. Murray can provide value at this price in what should be a high scoring game.

Forwards

Anthony Davis, NO at CHI ($11,200): Davis put forth another dominant game Friday against the Dallas Mavericks, as he scored 30 points to go along with 13 rebounds, four assists, one steal and three blocks. He's scored at least 30 points in three of his last four games and has at least three blocks in four of his last six games. There is no question that when healthy, Davis is an elite DFS option.

Paul Millsap, DEN vs. GS ($6,800): Millsap seems to have finally settled in with his new team. He had by far his best game of the season Friday against the Heat as he scored 27 points to go along with nine rebounds, five assists, two steals and one block. While he struggled to provide defensive stats out of the gate, he has recorded at least two steals in four of his last five games. He presents an excellent mid-tier priced option Saturday.

Stanley Johnson, DET vs. SAC ($3,900): While he hasn't had any big breakout performances this season, Johnson has scored at least 20.5 DraftKings points in four of his last five games. This is a promising matchup against a bad Kings team, making Johnson a viable option at a very cheap price.

Centers
DeMarcus Cousins, NO at CHI ($11,600): This is just getting ridiculous with Cousins. He scored 20 points to go along with 22 rebounds, seven assists and one steal Friday, marking his second game this season with at least 20 points and 20 rebounds. While he's expensive, his ability to provide staggering numbers in multiple categories makes him worth it.

Nikola Jokic, DEN vs. GS ($8,500): Jokic continues to lead the Nuggets as he has scored at least 19 points in three of his last four games and has at least 14 rebounds in four of his last five games. He's an excellent passer who can provide a lot of steals as well, making him a great option Saturday against the Warriors.

Dirk Nowitzki, DAL at MIN ($4,600): Dirk is nowhere near the player that he was in his prime, but he's still someone you shouldn't ignore. He has scored at least 23.3 DraftKings points in seven of 10 games this season, giving him value at this price. The Timberwolves are allowing an average of 113.1 points per game, so Dirk may be in for an improved offensive performance.
