DraftKings NBA: Tuesday Cheat Sheet

DraftKings NBA: Tuesday Cheat Sheet

This article is part of our DraftKings NBA series.

Tuesday brings a busy night in the NBA with 10 games on the schedule. While there aren't a ton of great games in terms of team matchups, the evening will be highlighted by the Los Angeles Clippers taking on the San Antonio Spurs. There are still plenty of great individual matchups to take advantage of though for your DraftKings entry.

Guards

Giannis Antetokounmpo, MIL at CLE ($10,800): Giannis is pretty much matchup-proof as he is averaging 56.3 DraftKings points per game. That being said, Tuesday presents a great opportunity for Giannis to shine yet again against a Cavaliers team allowing 113.4 points per game. Giannis already scored 63.0 DraftKings points against them earlier this season.

Donovan Mitchell, UTA vs. PHI ($4,600): Mitchell has been one of the better cheap plays for a while as he has scored at least 29.0 DraftKings points in four of his last five games. His price was $3,900 or lower in all five of those games. While he will cost you slightly more Tuesday, he is still a promising value play against the Sixers.

Patty Mills, SA vs. LAC ($3,900): Mills has replaced Dejounte Murray as the starting point guard for the Spurs, playing at least 26 minutes in all three games since taking on that roll. He had played at least 26 minutes in only two of seven games as a member of the bench. After scoring at least 27.0 DraftKings point in both of his last two games, Mills present a nice opportunity for a cheap tournament play with some upside.

Forwards

Anthony Davis, NO at IND ($11,200): Davis is a DFS monster when healthy as he has scored at least 54.0 DraftKings points in every game except for the one game he left early due to injury this season. He gets plenty of opportunities to produce as he is averaging 36 minutes per contest. This is a major mismatch in Davis' favor against Thaddeus Young and the Pacers.

DeMarre Carroll, BKN at DEN ($5,500): Carroll has been a great value play on most nights as he is averaging 29.6 DraftKings points per game despite being priced at $5,500 or lower in every contest. He is currently averaging career highs in points (13.7), rebounds (6.9) and steals (1.7) on a Nets team that is lacking quality depth. Tuesday presents another opportunity to have Carroll produce for your lineup.

Denzel Valentine, CHI at TOR ($4,400): The Bulls will be without David Nwaba (ankle) Tuesday, resulting in Paul Zipser moving back into the starting lineup. Even though Zipser will be starting, Valentine should also see more minutes and will likely be more productive. Valentine has quietly played well of late, scoring at least 25.3 DraftKings points in four of his last five games. At this price, that would be another valuable return.

Centers

Nikola Jokic, DEN vs. BKN ($8,500): Simply put, the Nets centers are terrible. Tyson Chandler and Alex Len of the Phoenix Suns combined for 10 points and 21 rebounds against them Monday. They aren't exactly the most dynamic center duo in the league either. Jokic enters Tuesday averaging 40.6 DraftKings points per game and looks primed for a huge performance.

Robin Lopez, CHI at TOR ($5,300): While the Bulls have struggled, Lopez has thrived during their rebuild as he is averaging a career high 14.8 points to go along with 6.5 rebounds, 2.4 assists and 1.3 blocks per game. He scored 32.5 DraftKings points against the Raptors earlier this season and you should consider using him again Tuesday at this very reasonable price.

Jonas Valanciunas, TOR vs. CHI ($4,900): Valanciunas has struggled with an ankle injury this season, limiting him to only 20 minutes per game in the five games he has been able to play. Tuesday presents a favorable matchup for him though as the Bulls give Lopez extended run. Valanciunas played 31 minutes when these two teams met earlier this season and scored a staggering 49.8 DraftKings points. If you need a cheap center in tournament play, Valanciunas could bring you a nice return.
