DraftKings NBA: Saturday Cheat Sheet

DraftKings NBA: Saturday Cheat Sheet

This article is part of our DraftKings NBA series.

Saturday brings a packed schedule in the NBA with 22 teams in action. With elite squads like the Golden State Warriors, Houston Rockets and San Antonio Spurs all in action, there are a ton of great options for your DraftKings entry. Here are some players at various price points to consider.

Guards

Ben Simmons, PHI at GS ($8,700): Simmons is coming off of his worst performance of the season Thursday against the Sacramento Kings, but he still managed to score 31.5 DraftKings points in the contest. That helped drop his price a little, which you can use to your benefit. He's averaging 46.0 DraftKings points per game this season, so expect him to rebound against a fast paced Warriors squad.

Dennis Smith, Jr., DAL vs. CLE ($5,400): The Cavaliers haven't been able to stop anyone as they have allowed the third most points per game (114.2) in the NBA. They have been particularly poor against opposing point guards, allowing the fourth most DraftKings points per game (51.8) to the position this season. Smith is a great play at this price.

Lou Williams, LAC at NO ($5,300): Williams played 39 minutes Friday against the Oklahoma City Thunder as Patrick Beverley (knee) missed the game. To say he had the hot hand is an understatement as he finished with 35 points, seven rebounds, three assists and six three-pointers. Beverley will be out again Saturday, making Williams an excellent value play.

Forwards

Giannis Antetokounmpo, MIL vs. LAL ($11,200): Giannis excelled in his first game with Eric Bledsoe Friday as he scored 61.5 DraftKings points, which is no easy feat against the San Antonio Spurs. Saturday brings a much easier match up against the Lakers. With Giannis averaging 57.1 DraftKings points per game this season, he looks primed for another big game.

Robert Covington, PHI at GS ($5,900): While Simmons and Joel Embiid are the most talked about players on the Sixers, Covington has also been one of the stars of the team. He enters Saturday averaging 16.1 points, 5.8 rebounds, 1.3 assists, 1.5 steals, 0.9 blocks and 3.7 three-pointers per game. After scoring at least 34.5 DraftKings points in four straight games, Saturday's contest against the Warriors is a promising match up to potentially extend that streak by another game.

Harrison Barnes, DAL vs. CLE ($5,900): Barnes has been on a bit of a hot streak of late, scoring at least 42.0 DraftKings points in two of his last three games. He continues to get a lot of playing time on a bad Mavericks team as he is averaging 35 minutes per game. With the Cavaliers struggles on defense, Barnes could exceed his price point again Saturday.

Centers

Rudy Gobert, UTA vs. BKN ($8,300): Gobert continues to be one of the best centers in the league, averaging 13.9 points, 10.5 rebounds and 2.5 blocks per game. That's not a good sign for the Nets as they are allowing the second most DraftKings points per game (61.2) to opposing centers this season. Get Gobert in your lineup.

Enes Kanter, NY vs. SAC ($6,400): Outside of blocks, Kanter's numbers are actually very similar to Gobert's as he is averaging 13.3 points and 10.4 rebounds per game. Like Gobert, Kanter also has a juicy matchup Saturday against the Kings as they allow the most DraftKings points per game (63.5) to opposing centers. He presents an excellent mid-tier option at center as a result.

Dario Saric, PHI at GS ($4,600): Saric really struggled coming off of the bench to start the season, but has been a member of the starting unit the last six games. The move has done wonders for his value as he is averaging 14.0 points, 6.5 rebounds and 3.0 three-pointers over those six games. At this price, he has the potential to provide excellent value.
