DraftKings NBA: Tuesday Cheat Sheet

DraftKings NBA: Tuesday Cheat Sheet

This article is part of our DraftKings NBA series.

Tuesday brings only five games in the NBA with some bad teams like the Chicago Bulls, Phoenix Suns and Sacramento Kings all in action. The highlight of the evening should be LeBron James and Dwyane Wade taking on their old team as the Cleveland Cavaliers play the Miami Heat. Let's dig into the entire slate to see where you can make some money on DraftKings.

Guards

Bradley Beal, WAS at MIN ($7,900): Beal is coming off one of his best games of the season as he scored 45.8 DraftKings points Saturday against the Portland Trail Blazers. He's going to be needed to carry more of the offensive load again Tuesday with John Wall (knee) still out of action. Beal's 29.3% usage rate already ranks him 16th in the NBA, so he could be primed for a big night.

Eric Bledsoe, MIL at SAC ($6,600): Bledsoe has played at least 30 minutes in four of his last five games as he continues to get accustomed to his new teammates. The adjustment period is going well from a fantasy perspective as he scored at least 35.8 DraftKings points in all four of those games. The Kings allowed point guard Patrick McCaw of the Golden State Warriors to score 16 points to go along with seven assists and four steals Monday while filling in for Stephen Curry (hand). That's a good sign for the far more talented Bledsoe on Tuesday.

Tim Frazier, WAS at MIN ($4,100): Frazier started in place of Wall on Saturday and finished with 21.3 DraftKings points. While the final line wasn't great, it was encouraging that he played 28 minutes. The Timberwolves allow the seventh-most DraftKings points per game (48.6) to opposing point guards, so Frazier is worth the risk at this price based on his role.

Forwards

LeBron James, CLE vs. MIA ($11,300): James continued his run of dominance Monday against the Philadelphia 76ers as he scored 58 DraftKings points, marking the sixth time in his last seven games that he has scored at least 52 DraftKings points. It was encouraging that he only played 31 minutes in the game, which should help him on the second leg of a back-to-back tonight. Pay up to get him in your lineup.

Lauri Markkanen, CHI vs. PHO ($6,700): The Bulls are the worst scoring team in the league as they are only averaging 94.3 points per game. Markkanen is clearly one of their best offensive weapons, resulting in a 21.4% usage rate. They have a chance to put up some points Tuesday against a Suns team that allows the most points per game (115.9) in the league. Markkanen scored 47.3 DraftKings points when these teams met earlier this season.

Joe Ingles, UTA vs. DEN ($4,800): Ingles doesn't get a lot of press, but he's been a valuable member of the Jazz and has started all 20 games this season. He's averaging a career-high 15.2% usage rate and has scored at least 22 DraftKings points in four of his last six games. If you need to save money at forward, take a look at Ingles and his ability to bring value in multiple categories.

Centers

Hassan Whiteside, MIA at CLE ($8,500): Some might be shying away from Whiteside tonight as he has scored 29.3 DraftKings points or less in three of his last four games. This has the makings of a much better performance, though, against a Cavaliers team that lacks size up front. Kevin Love is no match for him defensively, so Whiteside could have his way in the post and on the glass tonight.

Willie Cauley-Stein, SAC vs. MIL ($5,100): It's tough to gauge what the Kings are going to do on any given night as no player on the team is averaging more than 26 minutes per game this season. It's hard to get in a rhythm when so many players take the floor for limited minutes, but Cauley-Stein has been able to find his groove of late. Although he's been moved to the second unit, he's still scored at least 30 DraftKings points in five of his last six games. Take a chance that he continues his recent hot streak Tuesday considering his reasonable price.

John Henson, MIL at SAC ($4,700): The Kings have a lot of bigs in Cauley-Stein, Zach Randolph, Skal Labissiere and Kosta Koufos. That's good news for Henson on Tuesday as he and Thon Maker are really the only quality size the Bucks have up front outside of Giannis Antetokounmpo. Now a member of the starting five, Henson has scored at least 23 DraftKings points in four of his last five games. The possibility is there for Henson to out-produce his price point in this game.
