DraftKings NBA: Saturday Cheat Sheet

DraftKings NBA: Saturday Cheat Sheet

This article is part of our DraftKings NBA series.

Saturday brings eight games on the NBA schedule, but the DraftKings' main slate only consists of five of them, as three games will be played this afternoon. Here are the players taking the floor this evening that you want to consider for your entry.

Guards

Eric Bledsoe, MIL vs. SAC ($7,100): Bledsoe has settled in offensively with his new team, scoring at least 21 points in three of his last four games. He's immediately taken on a big role, and his 28.5% usage rate since coming to Milwaukee would be the highest of his career. Going up against one of the worst teams in the league in Sacramento should be a recipe for success for Bledsoe on Saturday.

Will Barton, DEN vs. LAL ($6,800): Barton lit up the Chicago Bulls Thursday when he scored 37 points and hit six three-pointers. In the last nine games when Barton has played at least 30 minutes, he is averaging 36.3 DraftKings points. Wilson Chandler (back) is questionable for this game, and an absence would make Barton even more valuable. The Lakers play at the second-fastest pace (105.5) in the league, so Barton has excellent potential in this game.

Jordan Clarkson, LAL at DEN ($4,900): Clarkson has provided an excellent scoring punch off the bench for the Lakers of late, averaging 16.6 points over his last five games. Not only is his 28.2% usage rate the best on the team, but it puts him inside the top 25 in the NBA. This game could be a high-scoring affair, making Clarkson valuable at this cheap price.

Forwards

LeBron James, CLE vs. MEM ($11,400): James continues to be one of the best DFS options on a nightly basis as he has scored at least 52.5 DraftKings points in five straight games. The Cavaliers struggle defensively, which has led to James needing to log heavy minutes in tight, high-scoring games. He comes in $200 cheaper than fellow DFS stud Giannis Antetokounmpo on Saturday, giving him the slight edge for your entry.

Brandon Ingram, LAL at DEN ($6,300): Ingram is starting to become an offensive force, averaging 19.1 points over his last seven games. The Lakers play at a pace that fits his skill set well, so expect him to continue to improve as the season progresses. He provided a solid all-around game when these two teams met a couple of weeks ago as he scored 13 points to go along with five rebounds, six assists and two steals.

Kenneth Faried, DEN vs. LAL ($4,800): The Nuggets' frontcourt is dealing with multiple injuries at this point and will be without Paul Millsap (wrist) and Nikola Jokic (ankle) on Saturday. If Chandler can't play as well, that's a lot of minutes up for grabs. Faried has played sparingly this season but has logged at least 22 minutes in each of the last three games. He hasn't let that opportunity go to waste, averaging 27 DraftKings points during that span. The Lakers allow the seventh-most DraftKings points per game (49.6) to opposing power forwards, making Faried someone you want to consider.

Centers

DeMarcus Cousins, NO at POR ($10,400): Cousins scoring is down of late as he is only averaging 18.6 points over his last seven games. Saturday likely brings an opportunity for Cousins to be the focal point of the Pelicans' offense as Anthony Davis (groin) is unlikely to play. The last time Davis sat out a game this season, Cousins went off for a season-high 41 points. Get ready for a big night.

John Henson, MIL vs. SAC ($4,800): Henson and the Bucks take on the Kings for the second time in the last week. Henson put forth a respectable outing his first time, scoring 22.3 DraftKings points. The Kings have a lot of size up front but struggle defensively, as they are allowing the third-most DraftKings points per game (59) to opposing centers. Henson could be a steady contributor again in this game.

Mason Plumlee, DEN vs. LAL ($3,800): With Jokic out, Plumlee is looking at a big bump in minutes and will likely take over as the starting center. He played 30 minutes in his last game against the Lakers, finishing with 26.5 DraftKings points. The Lakers allow the eighth-most DraftKings points per game (53.8) to opposing centers, making Plumlee and excellent value play.
