FanDuel NBA: Tuesday Value Plays

FanDuel NBA: Tuesday Value Plays

This article is part of our FanDuel NBA series.

After a busy night in the NBA Monday, things quiet down with only three games Tuesday. Even with so few games, there are a lot of elite options to choose from for your FanDuel entry as the Cavaliers, Sixers and Pelicans are all in action. Here are some players to consider across the price scale when compiling your lineup.

Guards

John Wall, WAS vs. NO ($9,500): Wall played 32 minutes Sunday against the Cavaliers, the most action he has seen since missing nine games with a knee injury. He performed well, posting a double-double on his way to 42 FanDuel points. This is an excellent matchup against the Pelicans as not only do they play at the sixth-fastest pace (102.2) in the league, but they also allow the ninth-most FanDuel points per game (45.7) to opposing point guards.

Khris Middleton, MIL vs. CLE ($7,800): Middleton has played well since the Bucks traded for Eric Bledsoe, scoring at least 32.5 FanDuel points in seven straight games. He is averaging career-highs in minutes per game (37) and usage rate (24.6%), giving him a great opportunity to provide value. With 20 points, seven rebounds and 11 assists in his last game against the Cavaliers this season, Middleton is someone to consider for your entry.

Bogdan Bogdanovic, SAC at PHI ($4,700): The Kings aren't exactly an easy team to project. They have inconsistent rotations and change their starting lineup frequently, making for some frustrating nights in DFS. That being said, Bogdanovic has played at least 30 minutes in four straight games, scoring at least 24 FanDuel points twice. The Sixers play at the fourth-fastest pace (103.4) in the league, so Bogdanovic could see some extra chances to score in this game. He won't cost you much, so consider making him one of your cheap plays for the night.

Forwards

LeBron James, CLE at MIL ($12,000): James continues to roll along, scoring at least 53.9 FanDuel points in seven straight games. He's played well in two games against the Bucks this season, averaging 27.0 points, 6.5 rebounds, 8.5 assists and 2.0 steals per contest. It's splitting hairs between him and Giannis Antetokounmpo, but James gets the slight edge Tuesday, as he's $300 cheaper.

Dario Saric, PHI vs. SAC ($6,600): Saric stepped up like he usually does with Embiid resting Monday, scoring 42.1 FanDuel points against the Bulls. He's played well with or without Embiid of late, scoring at least 28.1 FanDuel points in five straight games. His production will likely decrease some if Embiid returns, but he is still a nice mid-tier option Tuesday.

Mike Scott, WAS vs. NO ($4,500): Scott has taken over a key role off the bench for the Wizards, logging at least 24 minutes in four of the last five games. He's scored at least 28.8 FanDuel points in three of those five games, making the most of the added minutes. The Pelicans allow the second-most points per game (111.7) in the league, so he could keep his hot streak going for at least one more game Tuesday.

Centers

Joel Embiid, PHI vs. SAC ($11,500): The key here is obviously that Embiid plays. As long as he returns Tuesday, he gets a very favorable matchup as the Kings allow the most FanDuel points per game (60.1) to opposing centers. Monitor his status throughout the day and if he is cleared to return -- as expected -- the sky is the limit in this game.

Kevin Love, CLE at MIL ($8,000): Love has been a great second scoring option to James this year with Kyrie Irving now in Boston and Isaiah Thomas (hip) still injured. He played very well in his first two games against the Bucks this season, averaging 24.5 points, 14.0 rebounds and 4.5 assists per game. Between Embiid and DeMarcus Cousins, there are two excellent high-priced options Tuesday at the center position. If you want to save a little money and still play someone with great upside, Love is an option.

Richaun Holmes, PHI vs. SAC ($3,900): Holmes is usually a go to option when Embiid sits, but he's been productive overall by scoring at least 26.2 FanDuel points in four of his last six games. Even if Embiid returns Tuesday, the Sixers will still be without Trevor Booker (ankle), opening up some added playing time for Holmes. If you want to save money at center with a very cheap option, consider Holmes.
