FanDuel NBA: Saturday Value Plays

FanDuel NBA: Saturday Value Plays

This article is part of our FanDuel NBA series.

GUARDS

Tyreke Evans, MEM vs. LAC ($8,000): Despite the Grizzlies' struggles this season, Evans has actually been a nice surprise. He's averaging 33 fantasy points per game, as he and Marc Gasol are running this offense in the absence of Mike Conley. With Gasol likely out Saturday, Evans could be in for one of his biggest usage night of the season. It comes in a great matchup as well, with the Clippers allowing the sixth-most fantasy points to shooting guards across their last 10 games.

C.J. McCollum, POR at LAL ($7,400): McCollum is in the same boat as Evans, as he should see a huge usage bump in this game. It's a two-man show in Portland and the fact that Damian Lillard is expected to miss this game makes McCollum the go-to guy. He comes into this game hot, scoring at least 30 fantasy points in five of his last six games.

Darren Collison, IND vs. BRK ($5,700): Collison has quietly had a great season in his return to Indiana. He's averaging over 27 fantasy points per game for the season, and he's surpassed 24 fantasy points in four of his last five games. Collison faces a Brooklyn Nets defense that allows the third-most fantasy points to opposing point guards, in addition to playing at the second-fastest pace.

FORWARDS

Kevin Durant, GS vs. DEN ($11.600): Durant has been on another level since Stephen Curry went down, taking over as the catalyst for one of the best offenses in the NBA. Durant is averaging over 62 fantasy points across his last seven games. That's absurd production and it's somewhat shocking that Durant's price hasn't reached the $12,000 threshold. What adds to the intrigue is the matchup, as he faces a Denver Nuggets defense that ranks 22nd in defensive efficiency.

Thaddeus Young, IND vs. BRK ($5,900): Young's consistency is what makes him a good option, as he's averaging 29 fantasy points per game for the season. The matchup is also favorable, as he faces a Brooklyn Nets defense that cedes the second-most fantasy points to opposing power forwards. Brooklyn also plays at the second-fastest pace.

JaMychal Green, MEM vs. LAC ($5,100): Green is the other beneficiary in Memphis with Gasol out, as he should play some huge minutes in his absence. He's in the midst of a nice stretch right now as well, as he's scored at least 26 fantasy points in three of his last five games. The matchup is hard not to like, too, as he faces a Clippers defense that allows the seventh-most fantasy points to opposing power forwards.

CENTERS

Al Horford, BOS vs. CHI ($7,300): There haven't been many players as reliable as Horford this season, as he's scored at least 25 fantasy points in all but two games. That's unbelievable consistency and it just adds to the fact that he's averaging 34 fantasy points per game for the season. Horford has a spectacular matchup, facing a Chicago Bulls defense that allows the sixth-most fantasy points to opposing centers.

Marcin Gortat, WSH vs. ORL ($4,500): Gortat has been a huge disappointment for fantasy owners this season, but this price has fallen too far for someone of his potential. In fact, he's averaging 25 fantasy points per game in a down year, which is still 6X value at this incredible price. He's also had some great performances recently, scoring at least 26 fantasy points in three of his last five games.
