FanDuel NBA: Saturday Value Plays

FanDuel NBA: Saturday Value Plays

This article is part of our FanDuel NBA series.

Guards

John Wall, WSH vs. BRK ($10,500): Wall got off to a slow start this season, but his recent form would indicate he's back. Wall has at least 44 fantasy points in six straight games, while averaging nearly 53 fantasy points per game in that span. That's monster production and he should continue it in this spectacular matchup. Not only does Brooklyn rank fifth in pace, they rank as one of the 10 worst defenses in the NBA in several categories.

Avery Bradley, DET at CHI ($5,300): Bradley got off to a slow start with his new team, but he's been playing much better over recent weeks. In fact, Bradley has at least 26 fantasy points five times in his last 10 games, as he's accumulated 61.5 fantasy points across his last two games. The matchup is even better than the prior form, as he faces a Chicago defense who allow the fourth-most fantasy points to opposing shooting guards.

Patty Mills, SAN vs. DEN ($3,600): This is simply a pricing play, as Mills should never be this cheap. The fact that he's averaging over 17 fantasy points per game alone means that he's a great bet to exceed 5X value, and that doesn't even take into consideration his upside. Mills has a 23.5 and 30.7 fantasy point outings in two of his last five games, which is nearly impossible to find from a near-minimum-priced player. He's also averaged 24 minutes per game in his last 20 games, as he may see even more run here with Tony Parker questionable headed into this matchup.

Forwards

Kevin Durant, GS at TOR ($10,600): With Stephen Curry out of the lineup due to an ankle issue, Durant is back to being the star of the show. When Curry has been out of the lineup this season, Durant is posting a monster usage rate, while averaging nearly 60 fantasy points per game. That comes at a diminished price too, as Durant is usually above $11,000 in this sort of circumstance.

Markieff Morris, WSH vs. BRK ($5,200): Morris has been a model of inconsistency this season, but his recent form indicates that he's starting to find his way. Over his last nine games, Morris is averaging 25 fantasy points per game, as he's scored at least 32 fantasy points in two of his last four outings. What's most intriguing is the matchup, as Morris faces a Brooklyn Nets defense who allow the most fantasy points in the league to opposing power forwards.

DeMarre Carroll, BRK at WSH ($4,600): Carroll has been in and out of the lineup due to a knee injury, and that's lowered his price to a very attractive number. Carroll is averaging 26 fantasy points per game for the season, which is already 6X value. That's downright impossible to find, as Carroll regularly plays 30 minutes when starting and healthy.

Centers

Andre Drummond, DET at CHI ($9,900): There haven't been many centers as good as Drummond this season for fantasy purposes, and he's truly developed into one of the best centers in the game. Not only is he averaging over 43 fantasy points per game for the season, but he's averaged 48 fantasy point per game across his last seven outings. He should be able to obliterate this poor Chicago defense, which allows the eighth-most fantasy points to opposing centers.

Marcin Gortat, WSH vs. BRK ($5,000): Gortat has been undervalued on FanDuel all season, as his 25 fantasy points per game makes him plenty valuable at just $5,000. His recent form is especially encouraging, as he has at least 21 fantasy points in five straight games, while averaging 29 fantasy points per game in that span.
