DraftKings NBA: Sunday Cheat Sheet

DraftKings NBA: Sunday Cheat Sheet

This article is part of our DraftKings NBA series.

There are only four games in the NBA on Saturday, with just two night games making up the main slate on DraftKings. That doesn't present many options for your entry. There are still several elite players in action though, so let's take a look at which players to target who could hopefully help you end your weekend a winner.

Guards:

Victor Oladipo, IND at PHO ($9,400): Oladipo continues to be an elite DFS option on most nights with his 30.2 percent usage rate ranking 13th-best in the league. He's been excellent in the first half, averaging career-highs in points (24.4), rebounds (5.2), steals (1.9) and three-pointers (2.6) per game. The Suns allow the most points per game (112.1) in the league, so Oladipo could be primed for a monster performance.

Damian Lillard, POR at MIN ($8,700): Lillard has been one of the most durable players in the NBA, missing a total of 14 games in his first five years in the league. He's been bitten by the injury bug lately though, missing six of Portland's last 10 games. The good news is he played 38 minutes Friday against the Pelicans, scoring 43.5 DraftKings points. He played well against the Timberwolves earlier this season as well, scoring 48 DraftKings points, and should be an excellent option again Sunday.

Lance Stephenson, IND at PHO ($5,100): Stephenson has been a key cog off the bench for the Pacers this season and has excelled in spot starts as well. His ability to provide production across the board gives him upside, evident by the fact that he has scored at least 30.8 DraftKings points in three of his last five games. Not only do the Suns give up a ton of points, but they also play at the third-fastest pace (102.7) in the league. He could be one of the better lower priced players available Sunday based on the limited options.

Forwards:

Devin Booker, PHO vs. IND ($8,500): Booker is by far the best scoring option on the Suns, resulting in a 30.7 percent usage rate that ranks inside the top-10 in the league. His role in the offense gives him a high floor, scoring at least 33.8 DraftKings points in 10 of his last 11 games. He's the most expensive forward Sunday, but his price is still low enough to present an excellent option for your entry.

T.J. Warren, PHO at IND ($6,600): Warren is the next best scoring option on the Suns and has a career-high 25.9 percent usage rate this season. He doesn't take many three pointers, but he's very efficient as he has never shot below 49 percent from the field in any of the four seasons in his career. With at least 30.8 DraftKings points in nine of his last 11 games, Warren could provide considerable value at this price.

Dragan Bender, PHO vs. IND ($4,800): Bender should get another start Sunday as Marquese Chriss (hip) is expected to miss his second straight game. Bender played very well filling in for Chriss on Friday against the Rockets, scoring 32.5 DraftKings points in 32 minutes. The Pacers allow the ninth-most DraftKings points per game (47.6) to opposing power forwards, making Bender one of the best cheap options at any position Sunday.

Centers:

Domantas Sabonis, IND at PHO ($6,700): Sabonis is listed as questionable for Sunday, so you're going to want to keep an eye on his status leading up to tipoff. If he is healthy enough to play, he would be in line for heavy minutes with Myles Turner (elbow) already ruled out. Turner has missed both of the Pacers previous two games as well, which resulted in Sabonis scoring at least 24.8 DraftKings points in both contests. If he plays, Sabonis could be in store for a valuable performance against the porous Suns defense.

Jusuf Nurkic, POR at MIN ($6,500): Nurkic has a major role in Portland's offense, with his 27.8 percent usage rate ranking second-highest on the team. He's turned that into significant value in DFS, scoring at least 33.5 DraftKings points in seven of his last nine games. He scored 35.3 DraftKings points in his first meeting with the Timberwolves this season and is someone to consider using again Sunday.

Ed Davis, POR at MIN ($3,400): Davis is one of the best rebounders on the Trail Blazers, averaging 6.6 rebounds in only 18 minutes per game this season. The Timberwolves have a lot of size up front, so Portland might neEd Davis to play a few extra minutes Sunday. He played 20 minutes in his first meeting with the Timberwolves this year, scoring 21.8 DraftKings points. There aren't a lot of great inexpensive options at center with so few games, but Davis might be worth the risk in tournament play based on his dirt cheap price.
