FanDuel NBA: Tuesday Value Plays

FanDuel NBA: Tuesday Value Plays

This article is part of our FanDuel NBA series.

Tuesday brings plenty of options for your FanDuel entry with nine games on the NBA schedule. Here are some of the players with favorable matchups who could help you end the night with some extra money in your pocket.

Guards

Russell Westbrook, OKC at WAS ($12,500): Westbrook continues to be a dominant force in DFS, scoring at least 62.2 FanDuel points in four of his last five games. His usage rate is up to 35.2%, which is second-highest in the league. Even though he has two new superstar players on the team this year, Westbrook is clearly the player with the highest upside. He will eat up a significant portion of your budget, but he's been worth it.

Tim Hardaway Jr., NY vs. BKN ($6,400): Hardaway has been eased back into action since returning from a leg injury, but he's played at least 34 minutes in each of his last two games. The Knicks badly need his offense, which leaves him with plenty of shot opportunities when healthy. Considering the Nets play at the fifth-fastest pace (101.6 possessions per game) in the league, Hardaway could be primed for a big scoring night.

Dejounte Murray, SA vs. DEN ($6,300): Murray has started the last five games for the Spurs, scoring at least 30.4 FanDuel points four times. While he's not a great offensive weapon, he did average 8.0 rebounds and 5.0 assists over those five games. The Nuggets allow the second-most FanDuel points per game (47.5) to opposing point guards, making Murray an excellent option at this reasonable price.

Forwards

Anthony Davis, NO vs. SAC ($12,500): Davis played 41 minutes Sunday in the Pelicans first game without DeMarcus Cousins (Achilles), scoring 59.4 FanDuel points. Cousins had the fourth-highest usage rate (32.3%) in the league, so a lot of opportunities to score have just opened up. Davis also shifts over to center with Cousins out, which is good news for Tuesday considering the Kings allow the third-most FanDuel points per game (56) to the position.

Reggie Bullock, DET vs. CLE ($3,800): Bullock has the potential for increased playing time Tuesday after the Pistons swung a major trade Monday to acquire Blake Griffin from the Clippers. The Pistons dealt away Avery Bradley, leaving a big hole to fill at shooting guard. Bullock has played at least 30 minutes in a game 13 times this season, averaging 14.5 points, 3.2 rebounds, 1.8 assists and 3.1 three-pointers. He just scored 29 FanDuel points against these same Cavaliers on Sunday and is someone to strongly consider at this dirt cheap price.

Anthony Tolliver, DET vs. CLE ($3,800): The Pistons are going to be shorthanded Tuesday as it appears newly acquired Blake Griffin, Brice Johnson and Willie Reed all won't play. That opens up a lot of minutes at power forward, which could be filled by Tolliver. He just played 40 minutes against the Cavaliers on Sunday, scoring 31.1 FanDuel points. Playing both Bullock and Tolliver could provide excellent value and free up a large portion of your budget Tuesday.

Centers

Rudy Gobert, UTA vs. GS ($8,200): Gobert has shown few signs of rust since returning from injury, scoring at least 33.4 FanDuel points in all five games. He's blocked at least three shots in four of those five contests, providing a significant boost to his value. The Warriors play at the second fastest pace (102.4) in the league and allow the ninth-most FanDuel points per game (52.5) to opposing centers, leaving Gobert as an option to consider for your entry.

DeAndre Jordan, LAC vs. POR ($7,700): For the time being, Jordan is left as the anchor of the Clippers frontcourt due to the Griffin trade. While Jordan could be dealt next, he should be in line for a significant role Tuesday. He dominated on the glass in his first meeting with the Trail Blazers this season, finishing with seven points, 18 rebounds and three blocks. At this reasonable price, Jordan could provide value.

Jarrett Allen, BKN at NY ($3,700): The Nets are still a mess at center, giving minutes to Allen, Tyler Zeller and Jahlil Okafor. However, Allen has played at least 20 minutes in two of the last three games, scoring at least 26.7 FanDuel points in both contests. The Knicks have a lot of size up front, which could lead to similar playing time for Allen again Tuesday. If you want to take a chance on a very cheap center in tournament play, Allen is someone to consider.
