DraftKings NBA: Tuesday Cheat Sheet

DraftKings NBA: Tuesday Cheat Sheet

This article is part of our DraftKings NBA series.

Tuesday brings a busy night in the NBA with nine games on the schedule. With so many options to wade through, let's get right down to business and look at some players with favorable matchups who could help lead you to a winning DraftKings entry.

Guards

Russell Westbrook, OKC at WAS ($11,700): Westbrook has not only scored at least 64 DraftKings points in four of his last five games, but he's scored at least 71.3 DraftKings points in back-to-back contests. His usage rate is all the way up to 35.2%, the second-highest mark in the league. Even though he has two new superstar players on the team this year, Westbrook is still the man in Oklahoma City. He will eat up a significant portion of your budget, but he's been worth it.

Dejounte Murray, SA vs. DEN ($5,900): Murray has started each of the last five games for the Spurs, scoring at least 31.8 DraftKings points three times. He's not a big scoring threat, but he did average 8.0 rebounds and 5.0 assists over those five games. The Nuggets allow the third-most DraftKings points per game (48.2) to opposing point guards, making Murray an excellent option at this reasonable price.

Reggie Bullock, DET vs. CLE ($4,700): Bullock should be in line for increased playing time Tuesday after the Pistons swung a huge trade Monday to acquire Blake Griffin from the Clippers. The Pistons parted ways with Avery Bradley in the deal, leaving a big hole at shooting guard. Bullock has played at least 30 minutes in a game 13 times this season, averaging 14.5 points, 3.2 rebounds, 1.8 assists and 3.1 three-pointers. He just scored 30.3 DraftKings points against these same Cavaliers on Sunday and could provide significant value again at this cheap price.

Forwards

Anthony Davis, NO vs. SAC ($11,400): Davis played 41 minutes Sunday in the Pelicans first game without DeMarcus Cousins (Achilles), scoring 60.8 DraftKings points. He takes over as the primary scoring option on the Pelicans, but defenses can't just key in on him as he has an excellent secondary scoring threat in Jrue Holiday. Davis shifts over to center with Cousins out, which is good news for Tuesday considering the Kings allow the fourth-most DraftKings points per game (54.9) to the position.

Markieff Morris, WAS vs. OKC ($5,500): With John Wall (knee) listed as doubtful Tuesday, Morris will likely have to pick up some of the scoring slack. He did just that with Wall out Saturday against the Hawks, scoring 23 points and finishing with 37.3 DraftKings points. Morris also scored 36.8 DraftKings points against the Thunder on Thursday, making him someone to consider again for this game.

Anthony Tolliver, DET vs. CLE ($4,500): The Pistons are going to be shorthanded Tuesday as it appears newly acquired Blake Griffin, Brice Johnson and Willie Reed all won't play. That opens up significant minutes at power forward, leaving Tolliver with a big opportunity. He just played 40 minutes against the Cavaliers Sunday, scoring 33.8 DraftKings points. If you are looking for a cheap forward, Tolliver might be your guy.

Centers

Rudy Gobert, UTA vs. GS ($7,500): Gobert has played very well since returning from injury, scoring at least 30.5 DraftKings points in all five games. He's blocked at least three shots in four of those five games, which is a big boost for his value. The Warriors play at the second fastest pace (102.4 possessions per game) in the league and allow the seventh-most DraftKings points per game (52.6) to opposing centers, leaving Gobert with the potential for an excellent performance.

DeAndre Jordan, LAC vs. POR ($6,800): For the time being, Jordan is left as the anchor of the Clippers frontcourt due to the Griffin trade. While Jordan could be out the door next, he should be in for a significant role Tuesday. He dominated the glass in his first meeting with the Trail Blazers this season, finishing with seven points, 18 rebounds and three blocks. He won't cost a lot, making him a viable option for your entry.

Zach Randolph, SAC at NO ($5,300): The Kings were without Willie Cauley-Stein (knee) and Skal Labissiere (shoulder) on Sunday, resulting in Randolph playing 32 minutes and scoring 31.8 DraftKings points. Cauley-Stein will be out again Tuesday and Labissiere is considered questionable. Randolph's 27.5% usage rate is the highest on the team, so he could provide significant value with added playing time.
