FanDuel NBA: Saturday Value Plays

FanDuel NBA: Saturday Value Plays

This article is part of our FanDuel NBA series.

Guards

Bradley Beal, WSH at ORL ($9,200): With John Wall out for the next six weeks, it's time for Beal to take over. That's been evident in the last two games, as he's scored at least 48 fantasy points in each outing. Beal has a 26 percent usage rate since Wall went down, and Orlando is a defense worth exploiting, as they allow the fifth-most fantasy points to opposing shooting guards.

Jrue Holiday, NOP at MIN ($8,000): Holiday is in a similar boat as Beal, as he's benefited from an injury to DeMarcus Cousins. He's posted a 23.8 usage rate across his last three games, leading to one of his best stretches of the year, as he has at least 32 fantasy points in 13 straight games, while averaging 40.6 fantasy points per game in that span.

Dennis Smith Jr., DAL at SAC ($6,800): Smith was underwhelming in his first few weeks as a rookie, but his most recent stretch shows why there was so much promise with him coming out of the draft. Smith has at least 27 fantasy points in 15 of his last 16 games, and he's averaging over 35 fantasy points per game in that stretch. He draws a strong matchup Saturday, with Sacramento ranking 29th in defensive efficiency.

Forwards

Ben Simmons, PHI at IND ($8,500): Using a point guard at the power forward position has made Simmons intriguing all season long, as it's easily the thinnest position on a regular basis. Simmons comes into this matchup on a hot streak, averaging over 43 fantasy points per game across his last six outings. He absolutely obliterated Indiana the first time he faced them, collecting 14 points, 11 rebounds, 11 assists, two steals and three blocks.

Markieff Morris, WSH at ORL ($6,300): Morris is another Wizard who's benefited from Wall's injury, as he's been asked to take on a larger offensive role. H's averaging 11.7 shots and 33 minutes per game since the injury -- huge increases from his season averages of 8.8 shots and 26 minutes per game.

Reggie Bullock, DET vs. MIA ($4,600): Bullock has been a stud since capturing the starting shooting guard role, as he has at least 14 points in four straight games. His role has skyrocketed in that span, averaging over 32 minutes per game and 11.5 shots per game. That's valuable production from a $4,600 player, as FanDuel has been slow to react to this increase in playing time.

Centers

Karl-Anthony Towns, MIN vs. NOP ($9,100): Towns is in a minor slump right now, but its lowered his price to a number that's impossible to pass up on. Not only is he averaging 43 fantasy points per game, but Towns is regularly a five-figure player. On Saturday, he faces a Pelicans defense that allows the seventh-most fantasy points to opposing centers. A 40-fantasy point outing is essentially the floor for Towns, and that alone would be approaching 5X value.

Myles Turner, IND vs. PHI ($7,100): Turner just recently returned from injury and it's lowered his price to this alluring number. While he did struggle in his first game back, Turner is averaging 40 fantasy points per game in his three most recent outings. Turner scored 32 fantasy points in his one game against Philly this season, and he did that damage despite playing just 24 minutes and going 4-of-14 from the field.
