FanDuel NBA: Wednesday Value Plays

FanDuel NBA: Wednesday Value Plays

This article is part of our FanDuel NBA series.

With nine games on the schedule for Wednesday's slate, there's a ton of options to sort through at all levels of the price scale. The following list should provide a handful of players to consider building your lineup around:

GUARDS:

Devin Booker, PHO at MEM ($8,700): Booker has been on fire of late and is coming off a performance Monday where he put up a whopping 40 points, 10 rebounds, seven assists and one steal across 41 minutes. That was preceded by a 30-point, nine-rebound performance as well, so he's clearly in a groove right now. The Suns are going to potentially be without T.J. Warren on Wednesday, who's currently questionable with a tailbone bruise, which means Booker's usage could spike even more and he'll get off as many shots as possible.

Rajon Rondo, NOP at SAS ($5,800): For Rondo's overall upside, I really like his price going into this game. Of course, the Spurs are not usually a defense to target, but I still feel like the upside is too much to pass up. Rondo has two 40-plus FanDuel point showings over his last six games, including 55.0 against the Nets a few weeks back. While the Spurs' defense isn't nearly as porous as the Nets, I still think Rondo can surpass the 30-FanDuel-point mark with ease, which means he should hit value at a price of $5,800.

Milos Teodosic, LAC vs HOU ($4,000): The Clippers continue to deal with a slew of injuries and will be without the likes of Danilo Gallinari (hand) and Avery Bradley (groin) once again. There's also some speculation that fill-in starter Tyrone Wallace is dealing with an injury and could sit out, which would likely prompt the Clippers to elevate Teodosic into the top unit alongside Austin Rivers. That would likely mean a 30-plus minute workload for Teodosic and at a price of just $4,000, that should make him a very strong value option.

FORWARDS:

Kevin Durant, GSW at WAS ($9,800): Durant is sitting below the $10,000 price tag for the first time since the start of November and while it's only a slight break on his salary, it's enough for me to recommend this pick. He's specifically had success against the Wizards previously this season, posting 31 points, 11 rebounds, six assists, one steal and two blocks the last time they met, which was good enough for 58.2 FanDuel points. The Wizards really don't have the defensive firepower to slow down Durant and have actually given up the second most FanDuel points to the small forwards on the season thus far.

Draymond Green, GSW at WAS ($7,600): Green hasn't played particularly well of late in terms of fantasy production, scoring under 40 FanDuel points in three straight games. However, that has dropped his price down to $7,600, which is the first time since Jan. 27 where he's been below $8,000. The Wizards have been one of the better teams defending power forwards this season, but have been surprisingly bad of late and have given up the eighth most FanDuel points to the position over the last five games. For that reason, Green has the potential to push for one of his impressive triple-double performances.

Jeremy Lamb, CHA at BOS ($4,400):Michael Kidd-Gilchrist suffered a hamstring strain in Tuesday's game against the Bulls and while he still remains questionable for Wednesday, it seems unlikely he'll play in the second night of a back-to-back set. That opens up plenty of minutes for Lamb, who will likely move into the starting lineup in Kidd-Gilchrist's place. Lamb owns 10 previous outings with 30 or more FanDuel points and when he gets a starter's workload, he's typically effective. At a price of just $4,400, there will likely be a lot of DFS owners all over Lamb.

CENTERS:

Andre Drummond, DET vs MIL ($10,300): The Bucks were absolutely dominated by Washington's big men the last time they took the floor and the matchup only gets tougher with Drummond coming to town. Drummond has double-doubled in 15 straight games and should easily add to the streak against a Milwaukee defense that has given up the 11th most FanDuel points to the position over the last five games. His last time out against the Bucks earlier this season, Drummond posted 27 points, 20 rebounds and six assists on Dec. 6, which was good enough for 59 FanDuel points. That sort of production is clearly the top end of his value, but it's still within reach.

Myles Turner, IND at ATL ($7,000): Turner is another matchup-based pick for me, as the Hawks have given up the third most FanDuel points to centers on the season. However, Turner has played well of late in his own right and is coming off Monday's performance when he put up 51.2 FanDuel points against the Mavericks. With another favorable matchup, Turner becomes one of the better mid-tier center options on the slate.
