FanDuel NBA: Sunday Value Plays

FanDuel NBA: Sunday Value Plays

This article is part of our FanDuel NBA series.

Guards

Bradley Beal, WSH vs. IND ($7,900): Beal has been superb since John Wall (knee) got injured, as he leads this team in usage, minutes played and shots taken since he went down. The fantasy production has been there too, as he's averaging over 40 fantasy points per game in his last 17 outings.

Jrue Holiday, NOP at DAL ($7,800): Holiday is in a similar situation as Beal, as he's taken on a much bigger role since an injury to DeMarcus Cousins (achilles). Holiday ranks top-two on the Pelicans in usage, scoring, shots taken and assists since Cousins went down. His consistency is hard not to like either, as Holiday has at least 32 fantasy points in 22 of his last 23 games. He's also scored at least 49 fantasy points in four of his last six games.

Tomas Satoransky, WSH vs. IND ($5,700): Satoransky has been the direct beneficiary to the Wall injury, as he's taken over starting point guard duties in his absence. It's done wonders for his numbers too, as he's averaging 11.1 points, 3.7 rebounds, 6.0 assists and 1,2 steals in 29 minutes a game across his last 15 outings. That's 28 fantasy points per game, as he's scored at least 31 fantasy points in six of his last 12 games. At just $5,700, Satoransky is easily the best bet at point guard to reach 5X value.

Forwards

Anthony Davis, NOP at DAL ($12,300): It's hard to fade someone who's putting up the numbers Davis is right now, despite the fact that he's the only player north of $12,000. During the Pelicans' current, seven-game winning streak, Davis is averaging over 74 fantasy points per game. That's not a misprint. What's even scarier here is that he faces a Dallas defense with a lack of frontcourt depth, and he's averaging 31.5 points, 9.0 rebounds, 3.0 assists, 1.5 steals and 1.5 blocks in his two games against them this season.

Harrison Barnes, DAL at NOP ($6,200): Barnes is too good to be barely cracking $6,000, as his 30 fantasy points per game is already 5X value. What lowered his price was a small slump before the All-Star break, but he's rebounded to score at least 27 fantasy points in five of his last six games.

Markieff Morris, WSH vs. IND ($5,600): Like most of the Wizards, Morris has been a different player since Wall got injured. In fact, Morris has at least 22 fantasy points in the 15 games that Wall has missed, and he's averaging nearly 30 fantasy points per game in that span. He had some success against the Pacers less than a month ago, putting up a double-double on his way to 26 fantasy points, despite shooting under 40 percent from the field.

Centers

Myles Turner, IND at WSH ($5,900): Turner has been a frustrating player for fantasy owners, but he has too much upside for a player south of $6,000. That's evident by the fact that he has at least 32 fantasy points in six of his last 12 healthy games. Even with the struggles, Turner is averaging 30 fantasy points per game for the season, which already makes him a great bet to reach 5X value.

Marcin Gortat, WSH vs. IND ($4,100): Despite the fact that Gortat's role has been in flux all season, he has too much upside to be priced this cheaply. Gortat has actually been better recently than this price tag would indicate, as he has at least 23 fantasy points in six of his last nine games. While Gortat's low ceiling makes him a rather unappealing choice for most, he makes getting Davis into your lineup much easier with his bargain price.
