DraftKings NBA: Sunday Cheat Sheet

DraftKings NBA: Sunday Cheat Sheet

This article is part of our DraftKings NBA series.

The NBA finishes off the week with nine games on the schedule Sunday, six of which make up the main slate on DraftKings. The Thunder, Rockets and Raptors are all in action, leaving several elite players to choose from for your entry. Let's take a look across the price scale at some players with favorable matchups who could help you end the night a winner.

Guards

Donovan Mitchell, UTA at GS ($7,800): Mitchell continues to pace the Jazz's offense, averaging 23.3 points per game in March. He's been a reliable source for production in DFS as a result, scoring at least 32.3 DraftKings points in each game this month. With the Warriors still down several of their star players, look for Mitchell to take advantage of their backups Sunday.

Ricky Rubio, UTA at GS ($7,200): Rubio has been a key cog in the Jazz's push for the playoffs, scoring at least 36.8 DraftKings points in five straight games. He's done far more than just facilitate their offense, scoring at least 20 points in three straight contests. The Warriors play at the fourth-fastest pace (102.2 possessions per game) in the league, so Rubio could have a few extra chances to provide value for your entry.

Quinn Cook, GS vs. UTA ($5,600): The Warriors thought they were getting some good news when Stephen Curry (knee) returned from an ankle injury Friday, only to see him go down with a knee injury that may sideline him for at least the rest of the regular season. Cook has taken on a significant role in the offense with all of their injuries, scoring at least 32.8 DraftKings points in four straight games. His price is climbing, but it's still low enough to consider him Sunday.

Forwards

Draymond Green, GS vs. UTA ($8,600): Green (pelvis) was getting a chance to show what he can do running the show with Curry, Kevin Durant (ribs) and Klay Thompson (thumb) injured, scoring at least 50 DraftKings points in back-to-back games. He then went down with an injury of his own, causing him to miss Friday's game against the Hawks. He's listed as probable for Sunday and with all three of the Warriors' stars still sidelined, Green will have significant upside once again.

Joe Ingles, UTA at GS ($6,200): Not only is Ingles having a career-year almost across the board, but his averages of 14.9 points, 6.1 assists and 2.8 three-pointers in March are his highest of any previous month this season. The Jazz are relying heavily on him for playing time, resulting in Ingles logging at least 35 minutes in four straight games. His ability to contribute in multiple categories against the depleted Warriors makes him a viable mid-tier option at forward Sunday.

Damion Lee, ATL at HOU ($3,900): The Hawks have nothing left to play for and are dealing with several injuries right now, resulting in Lee logging at least 21 minutes in five straight games. While his numbers aren't off the charts, he did score at least 21.5 DraftKings points three times during that stretch. He could get plenty of minutes if the Hawks are being blown out by the vastly superior Rockets, possibly making him worth the risk in tournament play.

Centers

DeAndre Jordan, LAC at TOR ($8,000): To show the kind of roll Jordan is on, his 14-point, 11-rebound performance in his last game Friday against the Pacers was a disappointment. He's been a terror on the boards, averaging 17.8 rebounds per game in March. He's stepped up offensively too, with his only real area of concern being his lack of contributions in blocks and steals lately. Most of the elite centers are not playing Sunday, making Jordan one of the best options available at the position.

Clint Capela, HOU vs. ATL ($7,000): Capela has rebounded from his slow start to March by scoring at least 32 DraftKings points in five of his last six games. He destroyed the Pelicans in his last game Saturday, finishing with a whopping 58.5 DraftKings points. The Hawks allow the third-most DraftKings points per game (54.1) to opposing centers, leaving Capela as a viable option even in a game that has the potential to turn into a blowout early.

Greg Monroe, BOS at SAC ($5,300): Monroe is coming on strong down the stretch, scoring at least 32 DraftKings points in four of his last five games. He has the second-highest usage rate (25.1%) on the team behind the injured Kyrie Irving (knee), so he should continue to get added scoring opportunities with Irving out. The Kings allow the fifth-most DraftKings points per game (53.7) to opposing centers, making Monroe a great option if you want to save money at the position.
