FanDuel NBA: Tuesday Value Plays

FanDuel NBA: Tuesday Value Plays

This article is part of our FanDuel NBA series.

There are 16 teams in action Tuesday, but injuries and resting players continue to be an issue down the stretch. It can lead to interesting choices in DFS, so let's take a look at some players who could capitalize on their opportunities Tuesday to help you form a winning entry on FanDuel.

Guards

Damian Lillard, POR at NO ($9,000): Lillard is trying to lead the Trail Blazers to home court advantage in the first round of the playoffs, posting a 30.4% usage rate that ranks inside the top 15 in the league. He has a high floor in DFS as a result, scoring at least 39.6 FanDuel points in eight of his last 10 games. Tuesday brings an excellent matchup against the Pelicans, who play at the third-fastest pace (102.6 possessions per game) in the league. The only concern with Lillard is that he is expecting the birth of his child any day now, so make sure to keep an eye on his status leading up to tipoff.

Quinn Cook, GS vs. IND ($6,000): The Warriors will likely be missing Stephen Curry (knee), Klay Thompson (thumb) and Kevin Durant (ribs) again on Tuesday. Draymond Green (illness) could return, but there will still be a large void in their offense. Quinn has taken full advantage of his added playing time, scoring at least 29.5 FanDuel points in five straight games. His price is climbing, but it's still low enough to warrant considering him Tuesday.

Eric Gordon, HOU vs. CHI ($5,600): The Rockets are taking advantage of facing the lowly Bulls on Tuesday by resting James Harden, likely pushing Gordon into the starting lineup. He's excelled in that role this season, averaging 21.3 points, 2.9 rebounds, 3.6 assists and 3.7 three-pointers in 28 starts. He also has a 27.7% usage rate as a member of the starting five, giving him significant potential to provide value in this contest.

Forwards

LaMarcus Aldridge, SA at WAS ($9,300): The Spurs are in the unfamiliar position of still fighting just to make the playoffs this late in the year. Aldridge is doing his best to help the Spurs extend their season, scoring at least 48.4 FanDuel points in five straight games. One of those games came against these same Wizards when he finished with 52.8 FanDuel points. He'll continue to lead their offense with Kawhi Leonard (quad) out, giving him a high upside again Tuesday.

Kevin Love, CLE at MIA ($8,100): Love hasn't missed a beat since he returned from a hand injury, scoring at least 36.4 FanDuel points in all four games. He's logged at least 30 minutes in three straight contests, so expect him to get plenty of playing time moving forward. He's the unquestioned second-best scoring option on the Cavaliers with Isaiah Thomas now on the Lakers, so expect him to have plenty of opportunities to produce in this game.

Gerald Green, HOU vs. CHI ($3,700): While Gordon will likely slide into the starting lineup in place of Harden, it also means Green will likely have an expanded role. He was excellent is 32 minutes against another bad tanking team in the Hawks on Sunday, scoring 38.4 FanDuel points. The Bulls have allowed an average of 117.3 points in their last eight games, making Green a great cheap option to consider for your entry.

Centers

DeAndre Jordan, LAC vs. MIL ($8,000): Jordan has had a couple of subpar performances, recording 27.3 FanDuel points or fewer in back-to-back contests. Don't lose faith in him yet though as he dominated the Bucks last week, scoring 50.4 FanDuel points. The Bucks allow the third-most FanDuel points per game (54.6) to opposing centers, leaving Jordan with the potential to start another hot streak Tuesday.

Jusuf Nurkic, POR at NO ($6,900): Nurkic is not consistent, but he's shown he has upside by scoring at least 41.9 FanDuel points in four of his last seven games. He plays an important role in the Trail Blazers offense with his 26.8% usage rate ranking second-highest on the team. The Pelicans have allowed the sixth-most FanDuel points per game (59) to opposing centers in their last 14 games, so Nurkic could be in line for one of his better performances in contest.

Cristiano Felicio, CHI at HOU ($4,500): Tank mode continues for the Bulls who are resting some of their better players and dealing with several injuries. Felicio has been one of the main beneficiaries, scoring at least 23.8 FanDuel points in five straight games. He doesn't provide hardly any defensive numbers, but he's getting enough playing time to at least approach a double-double on a nightly basis.
